The McDonalds on Felicita Ave, Esc. has terrible service especially with "takeout". often very slow (inside) getting someone to register to take order and very slow in receiving order. Someone should at least make eye contact and let you know they see you. When soda machine is not working there is no notification until you get to the drive-thru order window then you cannot get out of the line because the usual opening is blocked by "cones". This has happened several times. Notification should be visible BEFORE you enter the drive-thru. Also soda is often very flat - with no carbonation. Very dissatisfied with this McDonalds. Seems like management is lax in overseeiing operations in this store.

Dollar menu is life, but this particular McD’s has several issues: — smells like shit(no, seriously. it smells like death in there every single day) — ice cream machine is always broken — soda is often flat b/c they don’t maintain the fountain /co2 Drive 5 blocks down center city and you’ll find a much cleaner one.

this place is disgusting and the filthiest McDonalds I have ever been in why the health department has not shut this place down is a mystery. The bathroom was so dirty I walked in and walked out. There were ice cream cones on the floor by the machine and what did they do pick them up from the puddle of water that was standing under the ice cream machine and use them. Thank goodness they were in a bag but I wouldn’t order one if I knew it had just been on the floor. The soda machine had gross brown stuff all over it so I am sure the lines at just as filthy. I took pictures and the manager asked me why and I told her because this place is filthy and people shouldn’t be served food from here. I tried to eat part of my meal but ended up throwing it away after two bites I was too afraid I might get sick if I do though I know who to blame. The owner of this place should be ashamed for putting the public at risk like this. But then again the health department needs to do its job and inspect the conditions of this store. McDonalds should be embarrassed. Just plain gross.

9:05 am and there’s only one car ahead of me in the drive-thru. I order two sandwiches and two cups of coffee only to be told that there will be a wait for the coffee. 9 am on a Tuesday morning and McDonald’s is out of coffee?!? I’m told to pull into a stall to wait for my order, and I do. 5 minutes pass. A guy parks alongside me and enters the store. In less than a minute, he walks out with bag and cup in hand. Methinks someone forgot about me. Inside the store, I inquire in not-so-dulcet tones as to why it’s taking so long to get two cups of coffee. The manager feigns shock while her slowpoke employee shuffles over to the coffee maker. «How did you want them?» he asks, clearly forgetting that it’s written on the screen in front of him. While taking his time to prepare the coffee, he gets in a conversation with two co-workers. Obviously unable to talk and pour at the same time, he places greater importance on chatting than working. Leaning over the counter, I let out with a, «Could I have my coffees today?» «I was just trying to help you, man,» was his reply. Back in the parking lot, I hear a «Hey!» over my shoulder. It’s sleepy waving free coupons. As if his on-the-job performance weren’t incentive enough to return. I cut off his, «I know you’re pissed…» in mid-sentence and drive away. Don’t get mad. Get Unilocal. If I wanted to take the time to brew a pot at home, I would have, and in less time. The clock read 9:19 when I returned my car. 15 minutes wasted on a transaction that under these circumstances should have taken less than a minute. Something tells me had I stood my ground at the drive-thru, none of this would have happened. Next time I’m asked to pull into the limbo spot to wait for an order, my answer will be a resounding, «Hell no!» Judging by the number of poor ratings this location has amassed on Unilocal, isn’t it time that upper-management took some action? It’s moments like this when I begin to think the minimum wage should be lowered, not raised.

This store doesn’t give a dam about its customers or about making money i guess. 9Times. Out of 10, we go to get apple pie and they don’t have any or maybe 2ready. I usually get at least 6so i can warm them up for Sunday Breakfast, tonight i stopped at one in Clairmont Mesa, they had none, so i called ahead to the Felicita one, and was informed they had four of the eight. I wanted, but couldn’t take an order for 8, so they would be ready when I gok in 15min, but I’ll have to order and wait 12minute for them to cook. So instead I’ll go else where tomorrow, and in the future too, I don’t know office Marty is still the owner, but when I worked there many years ago this treatment and lack of service. You’d be Fired.

This is the dirtiest McDonalds I have ever been in. The ice machine does not work well, bathroom filthy, area around ice machine dirty, floors were cluttered. Nothing good I can say about this McDonald’s — you can sure tell it is not a corporate store. Children’s play area closed for months. The corporation needs to close this restaurant. Anne S

This McDonalds has the most incompetent employees! They ask you what sauce you want when you are ordering your nuggets. I ask for pure honey. I get to the window to get the food the girl says you mean honey mustard? No, the pure honey. She replies oh okay! Turns to grab it. When I get home I have 1 honey mustard and 1 chipotle BBQ sauce! I mean come on! She even asked! And this is the third time they have given us the wrong sauce… I know you work at McDonalds but do you have to be stupid?! It might not seem so bad but it really is annoying! its that classic story of being taken advantage of in the drive thru.

Cashier, who was ready to take our order, was told by manager to step aside. Manager takes our order. I ordered coffee with creamer and splenda. She proceeded to hand over the 7 creamers and 5 splendas with the stirrer and the coffee. Have you ever tried holding all those in two hands? Where’s the tray? I had to ask for the tray, especially since the rest of our order was ready. I can’t believe she did not plan on putting our order on a tray, albeit it was only two drinks a sandwich and oatmeal. But still, how was I to bring it to the table? I guess I should have asked my friend to pick up the orders I couldn’t carry. I know it’s a McDonalds, but, orders should be placed on a tray.

Well, when McD’s does it right, they do it right… nothing like a piping hot, grease dripping off of it, freshly made quarter pounder… This was not the case… when I walked in, apparent chaos… a few people appeared to be waiting for food, one guy was standing kind of in line, kind of not, clearly not knowing what he should do, since he was standing there for some time and not one of the 5 people running around behind the line had acknowledged him… so I got behind him and we both waited probably 2 more min before somebody finally appeared in front of one of the registers to take orders… And do they put cream and sugar in to-go coffees, or do they not? These guys didn’t, didn’t ask me if I needed any, didn’t give me a stirrer, gave me some kind of straw to stir with once I insisted… just chaos, not what you expect from a McD’s

Not the worst McDonald’s I’ve been to, but it was the closest one to the Safari Park. Ordered a «dipped cone» which I thought was cool, even though it dripped much of it off the cone. They should have more of those kinds of things at other McDonald’s.

First let me say I am a McDonalds fan, but this one is the worst. Management here obviously has no idea how to run a fast food joint. First you can expect to wait ten minutes to order as the people behind the counter do their best to pretend you don’t exist. Once someone finally decides to take your order don’t expect a receipt or your drinks(you’ll have to fight for those later). Then no one will call your food and it either won’t have been made or will be wrong or missing something. At this point you’ll have to attempt to get someone’s attention behind the counter again for another ten minutes. Eventually you’ll get all your food and it will be about what you were expecting albeit maybe a bit cold. At this point you get to sit in the dining room which gets cleaned nowhere near often enough. And this has been consistent here regardless of what shift its working or what manager is on, unfortunately this is walking distance from my house so when I’m craving some Mickey d’s this is the only choice. Everyone else I know had similar experiences here. Its surprising corporate hasn’t stepped in and done something to protect the brand here. It is unparalleled in poor service in this town.

Employees are rude. My food tasted like it had been sitting around all day. Didn’t have time to to return it so I just won’t go back. One of the worst McDonalds!

Mickey D’s…man there is something so good about a sausage and egg McMuffin, at least for a few hours until the gut bomb hits. Man oh man are they good though. Tight drive thru at this location so if you drive a large vehicle it is rough. Watch out for the newspaper machine at the drive thru too, some clowns like to walk right up to it while you are trying to get through the drive thru. I guess the sight of a large truck barreling down on them doesn’t compare to their urgent need for a paper.
