I don’t know why there is no reviews on this Dr, Choplin but my experience was so bad I went with my mom to be examined by him after Dr Sanchez has advised her to see him, he is so rude from the first moment, he is treat you like you don’t deserve his respect. And he is so impatient he want to finish examination in seconds. When he started explaining to us what is wrong he was acting like he is wasting his time with us . Over all we had a bad experience with him, and with the clinic itself they careless and your waiting time like 15 — 20 min.

Patient beware. I’m 59 years old and never have been treated so shockingly rudely, judgmentally and accusingly. All because I went, on the advise of my optometrist to get specially tested for glaucoma. Dr. Choplin came in after his assistant had done all of the work up, and began a series of the most indirect, negative communication I’ve ever experienced by any doctor my entire life. He started off with a bored, accusing tone saying something like, «Well of course the question is, who’s going to pay for your visit?» I was surprised & said, «Well, I assumed my insurance would.» He told me I had no reason to be seeing him for these special tests. I explained that my optometrist recommended them because my mother had it(puts you at a 4 times higher risk) and I’m Caucasian(another increased risk factor). Here is where his behavior became unacceptable to me. It was like he hadn’t heard a word I said. He sarcastically almost sneered, «So you think your insurance company is going to pay even though you have absolutely nothing wrong with your eyes?» I repeated what my optometrist told me. He again continued with an escalating loud, accusing voice, pretty much repeating himself. I said I had just told him the reason. He ranted on about how I just thought I could get the tests paid for without any medical reason for them. I repeated myself for the last time and when he continued on in the same vein, I told him I’d made a mistake coming to him. I told his assistant that I would be writing a Unilocal review. I stood up and started to walk out the door when HEREACHEDOUTANDGRABBEDMYARM, commanding me, «Stop now, let’s talk about this.» I coldly told him not to touch me(I can’t believe he grabbed me!) and walked out. This guy seems burned out, jaded, bored, haughty, judgmental, intrusive, doesn’t respect boundaries or listen to differing opinions and was utterly unprofessional. I give him one star, because they don’t list minus stars.
