This place has great prices and great selection, but customer service is horrible. Stood at the checkout shack for 14 min before I was even acknowledged. No hi, hello, how are you, what can I help you with? Nothing. Just«all set?» Umm yeah sure. Might want to work on that Oasis.

Lots and lots of different succulents at decent prices. Wide range of sizes as well(2″ pot to multiple gallon size pots). Some plants not under cover so you’ll want to go when there isn’t going to be rain. This place is not a huge nursery(about ¼ of a city block). When I was there a stray male German Shepherd was hanging out and they seem to let it do that, but didn’t want to take responsibility for it(I asked and they said it wasn’t their dog). I opted to leave my dog in the car because of the stray and it made me a bit uncomfortable. I simply just walked all the way around to avoid the dog. I suggest leaving your own dogs and children at home.

I bought a Living Social coupon in 2012 and took home a nice selection of succulents — I kid you not, these plants have all done fantastically well, look superb and have been a total success unlike the majority of plants from a well known DIY store(75% failure). I got great advice on the plants and there is a lovely display garden showing ideas on landscaping, Fantastic place and plants — Thank You

Neatest, most organized cactus succulent place we’ve ever seen. Great quality plants. I’d give it 5 stars but I called a few days later with a question and got voice mail(during their business hours). Left a message and no one called back. I called again and got voice mail and did not bother to leave a message.

Low maintenance + cool looking = no brainer! I actually enjoy spending time walking around places like Oasis. I find succulents to be quite tranquil, and it doesn’t hurt that many of the varieties are really cool looking. I’ve started replacing some of my plants in my backyard with succulents and I’m enjoying the results from both water savings, and easy maintenance. The Laundry List — — Pete the dog — Australian Sheppard. — Place is well landscaped. — Succulents segregated by size. — Fun drive trying to get to this place. — Fair pricing — Bathrooms on site — Lady up front could smile more often. The Gratuity– There are many nurseries /farms in this area. Check out Mountain Meadow Mushrooms(as seen on TV’s Dirty Jobs) to fill your truck with free compost.

Love this place! Really fun to go and wander around for an hour or so and pick out some new plants! It’s sort of deep into Escondido but that only adds to the charm. Always a good variety of sizes and types, and super fair prices, even less expensive, and better quality than Home Depot.

Beautiful grounds! Many choices for succulants! The only thing, is a bit pricey compared to prices at say… Lowes but quality surpasses! Wish they were more pre — arranged potteries.

I wasnt all that impressed. They were a little over priced on most and rediculusly over priced on their compton carousels, taking advantage of people because they are a newer variety. If you do not want to be robbed go to m and j in fallbrook.

I still love this place. I’ve updated to a 5-star because it makes no pretense of offering anything other than some fantastic smaller succulents, many not found other places, with a few drought-tolerant shrubs alongside. More than anything, it’s just a nice little place to take a short, soothing stroll through the desert garden for inspiration and find some gems. A focused, small, friendly place. Prices are not the cheapest, but I always leave with something. Every regular-price specimen here LOOKSPERFECT. With that said, every time I visit I find some low-priced clearance items that look a little sad, but have done great in my yard once in the ground. It’s worth visiting again and again.

I love this place. They have an excellent selection and also gardens they set up so you can see how the plants look when they are more mature.

I needed some ground cover for a slope next to my house and wasn’t sure what to put in. We ripped out the previous Ice plant because it attracted to may bees. My friend mentioned this place to me and so i stopped by this weekend. The lady working here was so helpful. she sent me to a ice plant that is so cute and has no flowers and perk it was cheep! I am so excited to see how it looks when it fills in !

Our father introduced my sister and I to this nursery. We took a drive out and enjoyed looking at the variety of cacti and other water efficient plants. It is very open and somewhat sectioned off in maybe four areas. It may change so be sure when you arrive you go to the little building where you pay and have them explain what is where. Also, ask for the prices because most of them are not marked. It is a dirt area and being in Escondido, it is quite hot, 98 degrees when we went in July. My sister and I loved the variety of plants available. We can’t wait to visit again.
