Great Phở Place, probably one of the best in north county or maybe even all of SD! Came here on a recommendation of a friend saying it ws definitly the best Phở in north county. I went to check it out and it was incredible. The broth is apparently stewed for like 4 days or something and I’ve never had a bad bowl here. Since I heard about it a couple months ago, I’ve been coming by about once a week. Cheap, fast, and the food is incredible!

I usually eat there once a month when I meet with friends, a large German group. They allow us to have separate checks and their food is very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. I’m a vegetarian and sometimes it’s not easy to find many selections that are healthy and taste wonderful. I get all of that at Phở Lee.

I love Phở Lee. Their food is delicious, the prices are great, and it always looks very clean. The hours are great, too! My two-year-old loves phở, but it can be stressful taking her to restaurants because she does have a speech delay and often expresses herself through loud screaming or yelling, but both the customers and the waiters and owners at Phở Lee have been very patient and kind with us, even when she’s being a bit loud or spills some of her meal or drink. I really and truly appreciate their kindness and amazing food.

After my workout tonight i was craving some veggie Phở. I picked this place because one of the reviews said they do not use MSG. When I called the lady said they did, but just a little. I decided to order the egg rolls and veggie Phở with tofu. The broth was very plain tasting and not many veggies in it, but it was decent. The egg rolls were really good though! The place is cute, and the lady who helped me was very sweet as well. I have yet to find a great place for Phở like where I go in Simi Valley. I would probably try something else next time I am in the area.

I’ve been here on several occasions ordering different things. I’ve had tried a lot of things ranging from their friend tofu, phở lee special, egg rolls, and phở. Everything my wife and I have ever had has been really fresh, really hot and delicious! They provide warm and friendly service, and their prices are really reasonable considering the amount of food they give you as well! Must try if you are looking for an affordable, fresh and a good«bang for your buck» dinner!

Found this gem on Unilocal.Have been back 2 more times. We love the little vermicelli with shrimp on sugar cane and grilled pork. You build your own spring roll. The staff is friendly and attentive. The flavors are better than many of the restaurants in Little Saigon. Will come back as often as I go to the San Diego Safari Park.

Walked in, they said sit anywhere. The gentleman behind the counter was very pleasant, witty, and on point with our service. As well as interactive with other customets. The food came almost immediately.

I haven’t been to any phở place in San Diego that has been one of a kind. Phở usually tastes the same. But I like this place because it’s been fairly quiet when we’ve eaten here. Plus the workers are nice and attentive, which usually I’m not used to in a Phở place. Being nice, that is. Other places have been strictly business and not friendly/approachable. Tonight’s meal was of course phở and egg rolls/grilled chicken bun. The meal tasted fine, but the chicken had a strange texture. A bit rubbery? I couldn’t get used to it and didn’t eat all of it. Anyways, this place is nice and would recommend it if you’re needing a phở fix and you live in Escondido.

My fiancé and I found this spot via Unilocal when we headed to North County for a wedding meeting and I’m so glad we did! Everything was delicious! The broth is so good; probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The ingredients are fresh and the owners(a family run business) are great as well. They are all super personable and very nice… Just great hospitality to top off a delish bowl of phở! We live in Orange County but this will definitely be a stop on our way home after trips to San Diego.

Best phở EVER! The broth was so good I couldn’t even add my usual Sriracha or jalapeños to it. It was so rich and flavorful and a very generous portion too. Egg rolls were great. Thanks, Alex, for being such an attentive and fun server. We will be back!

By far the best Vietnamese restaurant in Escondido/North County. And if you love phở, this broth will leave you coming back for more. Atmosphere: Located far east in Escondido on Valley Parkway, right next door to Joann’s fabrics. In an old plaza that’s been here for ages. This place is fairly brand new and there are plenty of comfortable seating along with 2TV’s. Nice Vietnamese décor. Modern/casual feel. May seem small outside but a great size inside. Food: Their phở broth here is the most savory and flavorful broth you can find. NOMSG. Very clean clear broth. Most places leave you with a salty mouth but this place is very clean. The noodles were perfect and portions are generous even with a regular size. And their spring rolls are a great size as well. They look like they were rolled right before they are served. Other places usually have them sitting and brought out asap, which is nice, but the rice paper is rubbery and chewy. the fresh spring rolls are really«fresh» here and do not look like they have been sitting in the fridge all day. The peanut sauce it came with had great flavors but my concern was the watery consistency instead of creamier base. But still quality was tasty. Service: we were greeted with kindness entering in and water was always filled. very friendly and upbeat. We were asked how did we find out about this place and« Unilocal» was to the rescue. Overall: Even though there are a lot closer Vietnamese restaurants from where I live. Phở Lee sets the pedastal on how«Phở» should be. I would drive here just to have Phở. They have the best Phở broth by far! Will definitely come back to try other items.

Fresh location for good phó. Very well lit, clean environment, especially when compared to the other establishments in this shopping center. Have you seen Wranglers? Ew. Customer service was excellent. Food was good. Prices are comparable to the other Vietnamese places in the area. The 90s music is very uplifting and wisks you away to a time not too long ago. A carefree time, a better time. *sniff sniff*

Legit comfort phở. Hungover heaven soup, small $ 6.50, large $ 7.50. Local eaters seem to get the Lee special broken rice with a bunch of goodies $ 8.95, huge portion, definitely going to try it next time. Plenty parking, and takes credit card. Who knew one could find comfort local food in San Diego? And in north San Diego. So odd, but bomb! Glad we found a place to hit up on the way home now.

Okay. So the plaza looks a bit ghetto. That’s why this place is a hidden gem. It’s still super clean since they just opened. Parking is easy to snatch. Restrooms are squeaky clean. They got flat screens with cable TV. Egg rolls are legit. Soda Chanh(fresh lime soda) is legit. Combo Lee special rice plate is legit. Phở ga(chicken phở) is amazing. The iced water is better than any water I’ve had at a phở shop. This new joint had a lot of potential. There’s a mix of both younger people and older people that work here. There’s a cute girl that works there too. I’ll be coming back again whenever I’m in San Diego to satisfy my phở cravings to cure my hangover from binge drinking the night before.

New phở place in the area! Definitely worth checking it out! Spacious, clean, good service, good food. I’m glad to have another decent Vietnamese restaurant amidst of up in north county! Amazing egg rolls and one order has 6 pieces, very generous. They were also generous about the fresh lettuce and herbs on the side that were very well trimmed with no wilted or yellow parts! Impressed. The phở was good, standard beef broth, nothing really stood out though. Definitely a good spot to go if phở is what you’re craving if you’re in the neighborhood. I was a bit disappointed they didn’t haven bun bo hue and other more traditional Vietnamese dishes, but maybe they’ll expand their menu in the future, who knows. If you want to order a beverage, get their coconut drink! They don’t serve it in a fresh young coconut but a glass instead, and they probably(not sure) added some sweetener in there too because coconut water naturally doesn’t taste that sweet, but the drink still tasted so good and refreshing with the bits of coconut meat! Come and check them out! It’s located in a big open plaza with ample parking space.

I came here with a group of 3. Lucky for us, when we were there, the waiter said it was the last day that they’d offer free soda and cake because it’s now been 1 month since they opened. We ordered a bunch of stuff from the menu. All I gotta say is, everything here is so delicious, The Lee’s vermicelli rice special is a must. It tasted incredible and it was satisfying. I’m craving it right now just thinking about it I’m glad Escondido has a new Vietnamese restaurant. Best of all, it’s authentic, superb, and family owned. Bravo

My mom wanted to check out a new Phở restaurant that just opened so we popped in for a late lunch. It’s a nice family run restaurant. The man who sat us was very kind and he did walks through the restaurant checking on all the tables every once in a while making sure everyone was being taken care of and enjoying their meals. In fact, all the associates were so nice and very attentive. You can tell they already have a lot of regulars that dine in. We started with some fresh Spring Rolls. They had great texture from the wrapper, lettuce, and noodles. The peanut sauce added a hint of sweet and savory with a little crunch of peanuts on top! The Phở broth was super beefy like it’s been melding flavored for hours. Great flavor and unlike some places where the noodles are too gelatinous and stick to each other – the noodles at Phở Lee were very fresh. Washed it all down with a Thai Tea with boba. Nice and light, not overly sweet. All the staff is super friendly. There’s plenty of space for families and large parties. Only thing they might add-on is a bit of ambient sound or music to bring a little more warmth to the restaurant. Other than that I really like Phở Lee and if I happen to be in Escondido I know where I can get great Phở and customer service!
