Really friendly staff. We came on a Saturday morning which was busy and the line moved really slow

This is the only Starbucks that I’ve been disappointed with. It’s just different. Service is slow even when it’s not busy. The barista completely forgot my drink!!! The person behind the register saw me and had to tell them to make my drink since I had been waiting so long. At the time there were three people ahead and one behind me. Even the woman behind me got her drink before me. Wouldn’t recommend this location again.

This Starbucks is amazing! Great employees who are obviously happy in their work. Always cheerful, always remember our names and orders! In addition, our online orders are perfect as well. Thanks to this team– they make our days special!!! Keep up the good work and great attitudes!

I don’t give Unilocal reviews for Starbucks really (unless I get a survey on my experience), and part of it is because I go so often I expect a certain level of standard. This Starbucks, however, was a lot of fun. I had to be in Escondido that evening and needed a place to work for a few minutes and avoid late afternoon traffic. All of the baristas were really friendly and lots of locals came in, who were recognized too. It was a really nice place to be! I would drop in again for sure.

Today, I had probably my best Starbucks visit yet, & it was all thanks to two amazing baristas, Josh & Chris. These two men went above & beyond this morning to help me out. Thank you two again so much!

I absolutely love this Starbucks! I go out of my way to only come to this location. My drink is always perfect, and I love all the staff. They are always friendly, remember my name and my drink! Thank you guys for always being awesome!

I been to this Starbucks a few times and my drinks are always awesome and the employees are very welcoming they always make you smile and have great customer service skills

This Starbucks definitely has a different feel. The big stratifier for me is if the Starbucks asks your name. Alas, this one does not. So when it’s time to get your order, you have no idea if it’s your or not. The employees seem friendly and happy. Very average store.

This is one of those locations where the general feel is slower than other stores. The staff is casual & doesn’t move with any urgency. It’s a small location, a bit cramped. Ok for the weekend otherwise ALWAYS use the mobile app to order ahead.

One of the cleanest Starbucks I’ve ever been to! Friendly employees. They never mess up my drinks. AND… only one in Escondido that has a Clover machine which my husband is addicted to. :)

The drinks are made well, but the store always looks dirty and trashed. Things like straws, sleeves, stoppers, cards and pamphlets aren’t replenished/​stocked. They always seem to run out of food items that are on the menu.

I ordered a white chocolate mocha (grande), and when I opened the lid it looked like someone had already taken a huge gulp out of it. Since I’m a fan of getting what I actually paid for, I won’t be returning to this location. Not cool, Starbucks… especially because I even tipped the barista!

My experience at this Starbucks has always been a bit hit or miss. They are busy, they are slow. Today, the staff seemed to be busy stocking or other things. I think they weren’t into the groove due to the time of day. I picked up café prior to a group meeting — expresso drink made to order as expected.

My first time to come here yesterday. I stop by on my way to work just to buy my mocha frap. Wrong decision i made. Waited in line for more or less 5mins. And to think there was just the two of us in line. Poor service. Unfriendly staff. Hardly smiling. There’s just 4 people inside. It’s not even busy yet they just ignored us and let us wait till they’re ready to take your order. This is by far the worst starbucks place I’ve ever been.

Staff here very helpful. I got a new verissimo coffee maker for Xmas. They offered to show me how theirs worked, and recommended coffee. Great customer service. A far cry from the one on auto parkway where staff was grumpy when taking my order and serving my coffee.

This location is in a great spot being it’s right off the interstate and has a clover machine, yip pee!
Heather was awesome, I told her I wanted a coffee over the clover (ask me for details or go to
for details, if you don’t know what this means) and she did something I usually don’t find with Starbucks employees. She gave me a choice of all the different available brews; I tried a new coffee blend that was not listed and it was super amazing.
Great job Heather, I truly felt like a valued client!
I stop there typically on my way to Tecumula because it’s half-​way, so I’ll be back!

This location has the 11k Clover «Automated French press» machine.
Review of Clover
— Barista Becky overheard that I was ordering a drip coffee and came over to tell me that I should try my coffee with their new Clover machine rather than using the daily brew pots. Her positive attitude and smile sold me. So she walked me over to where their clover sits at the end of the coffee bar. She explained each step to me through the press process and I watched the press piston push up a blown rice cake looking disc of used grounds. (You should watch the clover in action on youtube). In any case, two minutes later I had my pressed cup of coffee. The coffee was good, actually. I wonder why anyone would go through the labor and time for a cup of coffee. When I got to work, I looked up the clover on the internet and found my answer. In short, when people want a drip coffee that’s not on the daily menu a Barista must manually use a glass French press. This takes over 4 minutes. All the while that coffee can lose a lot of heat. This machine allows the customer to pick any coffee they sell (even the select beans) and press it with much less time and effort.
In any case, I think this is a good idea because I never like the generic drip coffee that they sell all week.
Review of store in general
— Parking lot is treacherous
— Not a lot of room inside, but people seem to figure out where to line up and wait in a very orderly manor.
— Barista’s are pretty efficient during the morning rush — expedite breakfast orders quickly.
— Guy manager seemed like a prick to the female Baristas.

This Starbucks is unlike my OC ones… they have a huge french press called The Clover for my iced coffee which they grind the beans then and there. Then brew it cup by cup. Its like a reverse french press. The brew method leaves the coffee without any bitterness. BTW barista said only 5 SBucks have this machine. Now I feel special. It was the most perfect cup of coffee. I think Im in love… can you be in love with coffee cuz I can. The cashier was kind of cute in a coffee shop kind of way… He fit the typical profile.
They also sell 4 cakepops for $ 5.00 for Vday… instead of flowers bring her cakepops.

Got that special Caramel ribbon extra Caramel Caramel drink and they didn’t put like any Caramel on it. Made a comment about it and they asked if they wanted me to put it in another cup with caramel? Really? Make it right the first time! Same with my friends one she got
Plus the lady taking the order didn’t smile once! Acted as if she hated her job. Made us uncomfortable. Not satisfied!
