Thai go. That they did. They are out of business.(not that I want people to lose money or jobs), but their food was awful! An Indian restaurant is now there and it’s pretty darn good!

Thai Go! saved me from the standard horrors of the food court. When I learned that we would be eating in the food court I glanced around and cringed at what I initially saw. The offerings were corn dogs and other standard food court fare. I had never seen a Thai place in a mall food court before so I decided to give Thai Go! a chance. I ordered wonton soup with noodles and was surprised how big the serving was when it was given to me. It was more than enough to fill me up and I still had plenty left over. Was it the best Thai food that I’ve had? Not even close. I don’t think that it’s realistic to even expect that from a mall food court. It was a filling, non-greasy meal, which is exactly what I wanted. I’m glad I decided to try Thai Go! and I would go back.

The cashier lady dipped her hand into the plastic drink dispenser with a scrubber to clean the inside walls. So I don’t recommend the drinks. Who knows how the food is prepared? Whatever, I hadn’t eaten lunch, so I got the«pud see ew» again. Despite its unappetizing name, it’s probably one of the most expensive things in the entire food court, but they do give you a lot(of noodles). Beware that it’s bland and wet, making it hard to grasp with a fork or chopsticks. So not only do you probably not want to eat it, you also can’t eat it. Moreover, everyone working there looks dead on the inside. What am I trying to get at? Make sure you have lunch so you don’t make bad decisions like me. Edit: I went back to the food court the next day because I had eyed the Sarku Japan next door while waiting for the food. Someone was cleaning the drink container yet again. I’m not sure why they do it that often(rather, at all). Nonetheless, I was able to take a picture of it this time while watching my chicken teriyaki with extra chicken get cooked right in front of me:

I took a few bites but didn’t eat most of my food. I ordered the Tofu Eggplant to go with a vegetarian option, and I got it with the noodles instead of fried rice. The eggplant was so chewy. In the display, it looked like it had been out for awhile because it was all congealed… but I took a chance anyways. My friend got Thai iced tea and liked it. I wouldn’t go back, personally!

Don’t bother. My tummy was upset all night. Food was horrible. I ordered a vegetarian noodle stir fry, what a mess! A container full of greasy noodles with gross eggplant and tomatoes arrived. It must have weighed 6 pounds and it was a greasy mess. Worst meal I’ve EVER had. I was so shocked at how bad it was, I just threw it away. Other family members felt the same way. I donated 30+ dollars to this restaurant. Don’t bother going, worst meal ever…

The food is really bland. I went with the Pad Thai and it was pretty much the worst that I’ve ever tried. The meats aren’t as good as well. I really wanted to like it, given it’s really affordable Thai food, which I love. It definitely disappointed when I was hoping to be able to get some good Thai at great prices.

24 Feb 20151755 visit. Food service — cashier forgot the price of bottle water. Menu — typical Asian mall selection but not Thai by any means. Taste — had the Pad Thai — cold since it was a hot tray item and red curry — plain and boring. Second visit only if the other three Asian options in the food court wait are too long would I be visiting again. 3 stars for not bad but not great.

I’ve been there twice now and both times, I was disappointed. First time, I ordered the Drunken noodles to-go and found once I was home that it was the wrong order. So I have no idea how well they make that dish. Second time, I ordered the Spicy Cashew Nut noodle. It had no cashew nuts in there at all(not an exaggeration). If it’s in the name, it should at least have the«essence» of cashew nuts, even if it is just the cooking oil or something. Then it had so much white onions, I think they outnumbered my noodles(exaggerated but you get my point). I gave it three stars just because of portion size and the flavors, for whatever it was I had, both times were decent.

The eggplant(in garlic sauce) and Coconut Shrimp are both tasty and well prepared(and definitely a cut-above anything similar offered at Panda Express).

If you’re expecting real authentic Thai food at the mall… That’s a serious problem. Thai Go is the first store at the food court, and sure it is quite deceiving. The food that they have out for quick take out is more Chinese food than Thai food but it’s pretty good for cheap white washed Chinese/Thai food. I didn’t expect anything breathtaking but it was pretty good for how much they give and for the price. I particularly like that their meats aren’t like entirely covered with dough like Panda Express’s Orange Chicken. If you’re looking for the equivalent of Orange Chicken I would definitely recommend the Mango Chicken or the Lemon Grass Chicken if you want a little spice. That being said, I haven’t actually had their made to order Thai food and I’m not sure if I would have the patience to wait when there is food already ready haha but I imagine that it wouldn’t be too bad. So in conclusion, no it’s not an authentic Thai food 5 star restaurant but it’s good for mall food! I would definitely recommend this place over Panda Express and plus I rather support local businesses.

I love Thai food… Normally. However Thai go is a no go. The pad thai tasted like nothing. The mango chicken was decent but nothingg special. And the general taos chicken tasted like the mango chicken and the little Asian girl at the front also seemed like she lacked social skills… I’m pretty sure she is a family member being hooked up with a job. FINALLY, NOTREALTHAIFOOD. I’m usually not this mean but I was disappointed…

I wish I could give this place a good review but what I just ate was so bland that I felt compelled to review. Perhaps some of the other foods here are decent but the peanut Thai sauce was terrible. I really couldn’t taste the peanuts and the noodles(fettuccini noodles at that) were way over cooked. I won’t be coming back. The Thai tea was decent though. That’s about it. :/

Best coconut shrimp ever! To die for, best flavor and the best part is that the shrimp is still crispy! So good… I totally give it five stars. They had a hard time starting up, but I love the coconut shrimp and a few other things they have.

Horrific. My wife went by here and went with her faves. She opened the box and already felt weird from the smell. The mango chicken looked off. She took a bite and was floored at the level of ewwwww. She went back up and said it tasted wrong and it wasn’t good. She asked for her money back and they said, «NO!» They angrily told her she could pick something else and she brought me the box of food. What the funk? It was awful. Just a chow mein and an orange chicken thing. No joke, my stomach hurts. MALLFOODSUCKS. Stick to Panda, Panera, or a Pretzel. Yay alliteration.

I feel like this place could be so much better then it is. It took so long to open and then they opened with mediocre food. The employees are really friendly(loud and pushy). The roasted chicken was decent but I prefer white meat chicken over dark. I was told the only white meat chicken they use is in their curry. I was a little leery about ordering something drowning in sauce. The tofu dish could have been so much better if it was fresh but it might have been sitting in the warming tray for a while. And last but not least, the Pad Thai that I chose instead of the rice was absolutely tasteless. I don’t think you could make something more tasteless if you tried. I was actually excited to try something instead of Panda Express but was thoroughly disappointed. I hope Thai Go makes some changes to their recipes or hires a new cook.

This place wins the award for the worst thai in San Diego county. This is like having a poor man’s Panda Express. Nothing about this food had the hint of thai in flavor. I would be outraged if I were thai and tried to eat this food. TRY is the operative word. I only ate a few bites. The workers had zero interest in any kind of feedback. Honestly, the best part of the meal was the bottle of fuze iced tea.

It’s funny how stereotypes can be accurate sometimes. «SAMPO! SAMPO! SAMPO!» Even though it was annoying, the obnoxiously free sample was good enough to draw me in. I picked an order of the mango chicken with Lo mein. Overall, it was very decent. I would say the entrée was very similar to the classic fast food ‘orange chicken’. The Lo mein was mostly ok also. The noodles were very soft and non-greasy compared to a competitor’s chow mein. I might be back if I’m in the food court, but I didn’t love it.
