Ok I am obsessed with candles now. I think since the semi-​annual sale is finally over i’ll slow down on purchasing candles. I stocked up on votives and a few larger candles to last me until the next sale.
I was very pleased on every visit I had. I was helped by all the sales associates working and they were very helpful. They gave me tips also for my votives. I love this store just not the regular prices. I loved the semi-​annual sale and i’ll wait for the next one.

I was in search for a gift (candle shade) and the one in El Cajon had one but it was damaged and they weren’t that helpful. I called this store and made sure they had some in stock to make it worth the trip, the sales associate was very nice on the phone and really helpful. She told me she had 5 at her location.
Arrived at the store and sure enough they had a handful and I began the search for the perfect one. Right away the sales associate guessed it was me who had called and greeted me warmly and helped me find the right one, I’m very new to the whole candle scene and she picked that up and gave me a bunch of pointers and tips to make sure I picked the right stuff. As I browsed the store she came over to answer any questions I had and was super awesome and cheerful. Upon check out she informed me that there was a coupon that I could use to cut the price in half and that was super awesome, something that the El Cajon associates didn’t tell me. That made the drive super worth it. Tracy was spot on and knew all her candle stuff, I will try and make the drive again just to have that awesome experience. Thank you Tracy you rock!

Walking into the store is so calming; it gives me the warm, cozy feeling of being at home. The ladies at the store are so lovely, not pushy, and they greet you upon entrance. The store is organized by scent (via the large signs above the shelves) and size, large jar and tumbler candles first, then it decreases in size.
Now, I have to admit these candles are pricey. Definitely more expensive than the candles sold at Bath & Body Works, but they are worth every penny! Bath & Body Works candles burn TOO quickly, and the scents are unbearably saccharine for my taste. Which is the main reason why I started investing with Yankee Candle. Yes, they may be pricey, but they’ll last you a while. Next to the longevity of the candles, they have an impressive selection of scents to choose from.

Great fragrances I’ve shopped with Judy for years. She always remembers me and my favorites. She always greets me with a smile and wave.

Can’t stand that fat pig of a manager. She’s rude and when I went in with my son you would have thought I brought in a barrel of monkeys. It was just one kid and she made a comment about not allowing him to touch the candle jars. We left and bought his mom a birthday present from a different place. Judy you have a hell of a lot to learn about how to treat a customer. We WON’T be back, unless she is gone.

Great store! Very helpful and knowledgable. I got great customer service and found the perfect gift. Highly recommend!

i wish my house smelled like this all the time. i love walking into this store just for the smell. but especially love the Yankee Candles
