We were stuck in Espanola due to car trouble. Our search for a place to rest found this oasis. The welcome we received was kind and soothing after a challenging several hours. Our home away from home is emmaculate and comfortable. The gardens are filled with beautiful flowers. Just waiting now to go to breakfast. Come and stay, you will be glad.

Espanola doesn’t get much attention except maybe in a bad way. However, my mom lived there for a time, and I wanted to stay in the area she used to live. It was also convenient since it was partway between Santa Fe and Ojo Caliente Hot Springs which I both wanted to visit. The Inn is off a major road; however, it is back from the road. There is a complex of buildings, but you have to go off the road a bit to get to the actual inn. You could tell when you visited the office or went to breakfast, that this is family business. There were kids or teenagers hanging around(which were well behaved by the way). The actual room(San Miguel) was huge, bigger than one of the apartments I have lived in. The decorating really put me in the Northern New Mexico mood, and there was a beautiful large tub and cool fireplace. The breakfast was pleasant and was made more pleasant by the lady serving it who was so hospitable. She made sure that if we had any questions about the area, she did her best and more to answer them. I would highly recommend the place if you are looking for something different. Oh, and the price was very reasonable for what you get.

Hidden gem in a town with not a lot of choices. Close to Los Alamos and Bandolier National Monument. Our rooms were the size of apartments, culturally and beautifully decorated. Main house where breakfast is served was filled with unique museum quality artifacts. And breakfast was amazing, your choice of burrito in the morning along with every continental breakfast need. Staff was extremely helpful, understanding, and full of information about the local area and history.
