This is why a monopoly is a bad thing. Okay…yes, I could go with«Hughes Net» but that would probably be like six of one… half dozen of the other. This is a company that charges twice what I paid in the metro area for less than HALF the speed. And don’t get me started on the regular drops and lag issues. If ANY company EVER comes in to offer competition, this business dies OVERNIGHT!(You hear that Comcast!?) Even my Direct TV has lag issues(which I have NEVER experienced until here!) And if you think that an outage or problem will get you any credit… you are sadly mistaken. They are the only game in town and that is how they run the company. They don’t need customer service because they have NOCOMPETITION. One can only hope that(and I shudder to say this considering the awful experience that I had with the company) even Centurylink might move this way. Yep… it is that bad when I would opt for Centurylink over them.
