Apple Store

Have had issues with my 5 year old Ipad.2 first generation. My friend got me there and I went in. All apple products. and mac to try out/​Be sure you make an appointment if you go
they did test on my I pad and just as I thought. it was the battery/​, I just have to decide what I can do. They promised a good deal on a trade in, I might go back but its a long way. they are helpful and know their stuff. I DID SAY DONT STOP IN AND EXPECT HELP WITH OUT AN APPOINTMENT CAUSE YOU WILL GET FRUSTRATED.

If I could give zero stars. I would! I was told I would be waiting about 31 minutes. I have been waiting an hour and a half and the manager came over to ask me to «hang in there» or I could continue to wait or come back another day. I loathe this place!

I went to this Apple Store with much trepidation after reading some of the terrible reviews. I was very pleasantly surprised by my visit. I barely got through the door when I was greeted by two employees who asked how they could help me. After I explained the problem I was having they took me directly to one of the technicians named Bobby. Bobby could not fix my problem there in the store but he scheduled a call from Apple Support who could fix my issue. The call was scheduled for 10 minutes in the future and the phone rang exactly at the appointed time. I explained the problem to John. He verified I was who I said I was. Then he sent an email with a temporary password which fixed my problem!

So many employees and not enough help. You wait around, being ignored, and being told another few minutes. Another few minutes… Then hours pass and your still waiting, then you see employees go to lunch. Your still waiting, being ignored. Absolutely crazy how so many people can be employed in a single store but no one is available to help you. Employees stand around and outnumber customers.

I walked in and was signed up to have someone look at my I phone 6+ (which I have had trouble with since I got it) they were to text me when they were ready for me to come back — that text never came — the lady with pink hair who signed me up for the service said they would text up to 4times — uh, I didn’t get 1 text or phone call — in frustration I left after 2 hours. I think it is time to find any other carrier but AT & T & Apple:(! pretty bummed.

The least they could do is acknowledge every person that at least looks like they might need help. The service there is getting worse and the way they keep hiring people is just going to get worse and worse.

I keep on getting disappointed in going here. Always want to sell me items. Just want items fixed. The genius staff are really not smart.

This place is a nightmare! I have spent hours There on every visit and I have a disability which makes it hard to sit or stand. Apple needs to figure out something else for this location or get some more Apple stores in this area. Again, this place is a nightmare! We are off tourist season now too!

Called up apple support because my router stopped working. Support couldn’t fix it so instead of shipping me a new one and sending me a box so that I can return the old, they had me go into a store which was 35 miles from home. I went to the store and they again determined the router had to be replaced. But… they don’t have any? Really? So why have me go to the store? They ordered me a new one but now I have to wait several days for them to deliver it… you guessed it the store. They would not deliver it to my home. Now I have to return to the store and once again drive 35 more miles. Is this idiotic or what?.

Wonderful, wonderful employees. I missed my appointment yet was accommodated with smiles. They made me feel very welcomed and my issue was resolved. In fact, they went way above and beyond what was expected of them! :-)

Just got my new iPhone 6 plus from coconuts point mall, very nice, but this is what I get from your apple product, it got bench right by the volume button, and I come back in for the service, they say it cost me $ 350.00 to replace the new one… they say Apple will not stay behind their products if it bench or the frame bench or crack… Apple getting cheap now, they start cut Conner like other company, that’s why all their service getting cheap now… thanks apple for let me use their 6 generations iPhone .this is my iPhone number 6 and also the last one… if Apple continue doing that, am pretty sure within one year you will see your stock happen… bye bye

They do not repair iPads. Only complete replacement. Can’t reach store by phone and apple customer service indicated they could do repair. Poor service.

I went to the Apple store in Estero today to fix my iPhone that had damage to it. I got there a little before open to sign in and within 15 minutes i was being seen despite the «40−60» minute wait time that was quoted. No one tried to push sales on me and yet, they were all very polite and helpful when I had questions. Great store, great customer service.

Wow a lot has changed in the last year. Twice the staff and half the productivity. So I walk in to a sea of dark shirt Apple employees wait 20 minutes to talk to one of them, and when I do I explain a need a battery for the iPhone. The guy tests it out and agrees so he sets an appointment for 2 hours later.
No problem, we go find something to do and when the time is ready we stand in line for another 20 minutes to confirm I arrived and ready. She sends us to a table and yet another 20 minutes pass and another girl walks up, confirms I need a battery, wipes out my passwords and says to come back in roughly an hour to meet with a genius.
Are you kidding me??? I refused and left. It is very obvious something has changed in the culture and process over there or in the company itself.
There was a lot of staff standing around but are not equipped to do much more than clean dust…

*UPDATE* — Four days later, the MacBook Pro was ready to be picked up. I’d asked Reese the genius at the first appointment if it could be mailed to my parents house in Cape Coral, seeing is how it’s a 50 minute drive to this store. He said that we would need to pick it up in the store because they’d turn it on & test it to make sure it would work. We made the trip on Thursday & came in to pick it up. We were told to wait at one of the One On One tables. About 3 minutes later, a younger girl came over & asked to see my ID. She then handed the computer to me and a paper that showed what they’d fixed & told me I was good to go. I really wished they could’ve just mailed it if they weren’t going to power it on & look at it.

So my mom recently bought a new MacBook Pro. This was her first Mac & I’d convinced her that she’s like it much better than her past HP & Dell computers. She’d had it for about two months and she was always saying how it lost the WIFI signal. She & my father live down here in Cape Coral & I live in Nashville. I came down to visit & checked out her computer & there was definitely something wrong with the wifi card.
Usually, it’s pretty easy to make an Apple Store appointment, at least it is in Nashville. You really only need a day notice up there. I checked on the Apple Store app & noticed that this was the closest Apple Store. The only appointment in a near future was at 4:30pm on a Monday. I made the appointment at 11pm on that Sunday before. I guess I was pretty lucky because after that there wasn’t an appointment available listed on the app. I checked the other Apple stores in the area & a few were available, but they weren’t available until Saturday, the day we were leaving.
We arrived at the Coconut Point mall. It’s kind of a confusing place if you’re not familiar with it, but luckily Google Maps was able to direct us to the Apple Store. We walked in & the place was busy. The people up front were busy helping people so we made our way to the back & a young lady was able to check us in & had us wait at the Genius Bar. We only had to wait about 5 minutes until our Genius, Reese came over to help us.
We explained what was going on with the laptop to Reese & he was able to look it over & see that it did have an issue with the wifi antenna & he created a work order for it. They were going to have to send it in for repair, Reese stated that it was going to be about 5 – 7 days turn around. I wished that the computer didn’t have any issues, but I’m really happy they’re able to fix it and not give us the run around. Reese was very helpful & explained the repair process. We were in and out the store in about 15 minutes. The store was very busy, but we didn’t have any issues with having to wait a long time like some of the other Unilocalers.

Giving this a review to balance out the negative reviews. Since Unilocal is sponsored by apple and this store even has 4 stars on Google maps I don’t understand why people are complaining. First off yes, this is an Apple Store, second off no, you’re not going to get people bombarding you or asking questions trying way too hard to make sales, you might get someone asking you if you have any questions or if they can help you, but most people including myself like to be left alone. The store has a great selection and I love the creative use of iPads to display information on all the products available and even allow you to customize your own build on the iPad. With how straightforward apple is compared to the rest of the tech industry i don’t see why people have a negative review of this store. Yes, this is an Apple Store, and the reason everything is so beautifully set up is so you can read about the products and get the solid facts as well as specs on the iPads on display in the store, if you have a question ask someone and they’ll be glad to help you. This isn’t best buy, you’re not going to get product descriptions that conveniently leave out the weak spots of the specs. iOS runs on all the handhelds, OSX runs on all the macs. It doesn’t get much more complicated than that, and if you have a question ask.

Popped in on iPhone 6 release day to purchase a case for my 6 plus. Quick and friendly service as expected.

Love APPLE products but there are many less «high profile» stores for better service. I went by this store twice. Both times they had «cattle troughs» outside the store where people stood waiting a turn to go into the store to avoid overcrowding. People who called for appointments got right in at their appointment. This simply cuts out everyone who random shops or finds time to shop or wants to check something quickly. This would be the LAST Apple store I’d go to due to their volume. Tampa has better stores and service for example.

Just a zoo. Had an appointment but does not really matter because If any cute girl that walks in will have a 5 start service. The tech who I had to check in was so rude. They make you feel stupid The worse service I ever had. Almost changed phones because of this store. Very very poor service.

Exchanged an iPhone for a screen issue.
I made an appointment through the app, showed up on time and was helped immediately. The Apple Store genius inspected the phone and agreed with me on the issue, even though it was a very minor. They exchanged the phone out and I was out the door in under 20 minutes.
**Note: If a phone is ever replaced and they start an iCloud restore, make sure it’s complete before you leave the store or you have unlimited data. Otherwise the sync will continue over 3G/​4G, eating up all of your data.
