Ford’s Garage

In all of my years of dining at various restaurants throughout the U.S., I have to say tonights experience at this restaurant was by far the absolute worse. It wasn’t so much that the young waitress seemed overwhelmed and unable to handle her tables along with getting our orders correct, but more so the way the manager while listening to us explain politely what went wrong, handled himself as a professional in the world of customer service. I simply explained the service was disappointing and he rudely asked «how so» and I began to share how we felt and it appeared he was fed up with what I was saying and SNATCHED and I mean SNATCHED the leather check holder out of my sister-​in-​laws hand and said very angrily «you know what ladies-​dinner is on me.» The four of us were appalled! We were enjoying a girls night out with my daughter who lives out of town and my elderly mother who was joining us for dinner and she was shocked by the condescending tone by the manager of this establishment. In addition to our experience, we witnessed on two different occasions while waiting for our meals, two men from each table walk up to the waitress and ask for drinks. I am not happy writing this review because I like the food at this restaurant but the lack of customer service will keep me away!

I have been here before and enjoyed it then. The burger today was AMAZING!!! I had the burger of the month «Model T». It was fantastic!!! Our waitress «Christina» was great!!! Would recommend visiting this place.

Great selection of beer, good menu, friendly people. It’s one of my favorite stops whenever I’m in Ft. Myers! Burgers were awesome!!!

Great concept restaurant. The vibe is upbeat. We had the Assembly Line burgers. They’re build your own burgers with lots and lots of options: cheeses, bacon, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, sautéed mushrooms, etc. The pulled pork nachos were really good. The service was pretty quick considering the place was packed!

This place is jammed on the weekend. We stopped in for a burger and fries also tried the shrimp appetizer it had great flavor. The restaurant has a cool décor that appeals to most. Would definitely come back for lunch. Staff was efficient

Best restaurant at Miromar outlets. Best atmosphere with old car theme. Burgers are the bomb. Excellent, cool place. Laid back atmosphere, great service. Old Ford car steams inside above bar. Restrooms even have the theme. It is just what Miromar needed, a good restaurant.

Drove here from ft lauderdale. The place is decorated really cool. The staff were friendly and the food was good. I had the patty melt with onion rings, my friend had the American burger with fries. Definitely worth the drive. And you can shop at the miramar outlet.

Bbq nachos were good! Onion rings were ok. very greasy but large and cool presentation.

First and foremost the service was excellent. The waitress patiently let me try 4 beers before I ordered my full beer. The beer selection is very good. I decided on the Bourbon Barrel Ale. Food quality was just OK. My burger did not arrive as ordered both in temp and condiments. The fries arrived stale and the replacement fries weren’t any better. The pulled pork mac’n cheese was really good. All that being said, I would come back but probably just have an appetizer and beer.

Great burgers & fries. Beer is always cold & they allow you to sample the beers. Good service & outdoor seating makes a nice casual place to eat.

The Double Dually burger was massive.
I could not finish it. It was cooked the way I ordered it, the fries were a good serving size, and the service was good as well. Our drinks were continuously refilled.
We started with bbq pork nachos and they were definitely different, but also enjoyable.
Fried pickles were solid also and the wasabi dipping sauce they come with was so good.

My family had lunch here and we had a variety of burgers, fish and chips, buffalo chicken tenders, onion rings, and artichoke dip. The food was great and the service was excellent. They have a variety of craft beers on tap from Florida breweries and a few other places. They had Bell’s beer which is a bonus. It’s a great place to grab a beer or a bite and its conveniently located at the outlet mall.

We ate here tonight and had a good experience! I really enjoyed the authenticity of the restaurant, with the white classic Ford automobile at the front entrance, the «car table» in the rear patio, the bathroom sinks consisting of tires and pipes, and the front entry sign that hoisted an engine. Another really nice detail was the imprint on the hamburger bun that says «Ford’s Garage.» Any car enthusiast will appreciate the detail here!
The food was actually quite good and the beer selection was decent, as they had 26 beers on tap. Our server was Samantha and she was very friendly and kind.
We were visiting from out of town but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here, as it is part of possibly the greatest outlet mall we’ve ever been to! Well done!

Very good burgers and sandwiches — cold beers — cute car theme = all american lunch in sleepy Estero. On a visit to Florida Gulf Coast college, this was a conveniently located spot for lunch — on the outskirts of the Miromar Mall — a popular outlet mecca.
Glad i found this on Unilocal bit turned out to be the beat food we had. kobe burger and Ahi tuna burger are excellent. Decent value and friendly service.

Ford’s is a fun place, with enough gimmicks and such that you probably won’t mind the bill all that much (check out the bathroom, for one). We were curious if this was an actual former auto shop, but upon arrival, it took exactly the amount of time for the first electrical impulses to travel from my optic nerve to the appropriate processing area in my brain for me to realize that no, it’s not that. But Ford’s Garage is still fun, because this is the essence of committing to a bit, as even the napkins are shop towels. It’s preposterous overkill, and I couldn’t help smiling at it anyway. Ford’s Garage is certainly in the vein of many an upscale burger spot, but let’s face it — at the «Miramar Outlet Mall» in Estero, you would be wrong to expect an authentic, three-​generation soul food experience. Staff were friendly and everything was tasty. I was very happy with a juicy burger at a perfect medium rare, so no complaints there. Good food, decent drink selection, clean restaurant, good service — all boxes checked.
It’s a hair pricier than I’d prefer, but the car motor spewing fog and the tire sinks and what have you obviously cost money to maintain. Overall, the Garage was better than I expected and I’m happy to return.

Disappointing … Big time.
Fried pickles were gross. Fries were room temperature and whomever is working the grill has no idea what they are doing. The burgers were incredibly dry as they pressed them way to hard and squeezed out the juice.
I wanted this place to be good as they have a solid selection of beers, but it just down right sucked.
Lastly, the burger buns were stale.
Don’t even try the sliders.
Come on Ford’s. Working a grill isn’t that difficult.

FANTASTIC BURGER! If your in the Estero area and plan to do some shopping go to the Miromar Outlet then go to Ford’s Garage for the best burger in the area. Very cool restaurant with a great atmosphere and impressive car themed environment. I ordered the 9 oz Black Angus burger and built it with bacon, fried egg, jalapeño ketchup, grilled jalapeños, spicy ‘boom boom’ sauce, jalapeño jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and more! It was awesome! The bun is even ‘branded’ with the Ford logo. Some of their food presentation techniques are very creative and follow the overall car themed environment. Definitely recommended, fun place to go.

Super Burger, tolles Ambiente. Wir kommen immer hier her, wenn wir in Fort Myers Urlaub machen. Zudem liegt es im Outlet, wo man super shoppen gehen kann.

I had so much fun at Ford’s Garage! Earlier in the day, Mark A. & I took a visit to Ford’s home, so of course we had to come to Ford’s Garage to stick with the theme. And this restaurant sure has an awesome theme! The door handles are gas pump handles. There is a car table outside. There’s a car above the bar that occasionally will have smoke come out of it just for fun. The servers wear mechanic-​type tops. I almost wanted to buy one for myself.
The burger was LARGE, juicy, and cheesy. We also ordered the truffle parm fries, which were great. We had a friendly server, who led me to a wonderful discovery of Kopperberg strawberry lime cider. So very thankful for her because it tasted amazing! It’s like drinking strawberry soda!
The food here was great. The beer selection is great. And my experience was great. Love it!

My boyfriend and I ate here about a month ago and I have wanted to write a review.
The food here is ALWAYS delicious. I always order the Tuna Me Up Ahi Tuna sandwich which is as good or better each time I eat it. My boyfriend took a chance with the Jiffy Burger and of course I had to try a taste. It was ABSOLUTELY delicious. I HIGHLY recommend both sandwiches!
We cannot wait to go back!
