I have eaten here three times recently. The food is fine, but the service borders on malpractice. On my last visit, customers were revolting: — one woman went back into the kitchen to get her own chopsticks. — a guy got up from his table, went over to the table the waitress was serving and demanded(not so nicely) to pay. — I waited 30 minutes for Decent Kung pao, and over 40 for my bill. I almost left without paying. If you are in Estes and want Asian, Café de Phở Thai rocks.

Had lunch here again. I love the Sweet and Sour Soup, egg roll and had the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce. My favorite dish there. I always order the lunch special!

Oh man called this place because it says they offer delivery! The Asian lady yells that thy never had delivery. We let her know it’s on her Unilocal page and she repeats it with the same rude attitude they don’t do delivery. We say«ok thank you» and she hung up on us! Seriously? Also took three try to even pick up the phone. Note to this establishment: HIREMOREPEOPLEIFYOUCANTHANDLEALLTHEBUSINESSATONCE!

Called an order in and picked it up so can’t say anything about the service people complain about. I had the sesame chicken with steamed rice and I enjoyed it. It was sesame the way I like it, which is more on the sweet side. And the portions are very big.

All the food here is wonderful. It’s one of the best restaurants in town. I wouldn’t go when it’s very cold outside though. You’ll be eating in your coat.

This place was nasty! I ordered two simple dishes, my lo mein was literally dripping oil off of my plate and made me throw up! It had only 3 shrimp and I ordered extra shrimp and it was cold and mushy! The wontons were rock hard & old! When I called to talk to them about it I got rudely interrupted and the lady who answered the phone(the same lady I dealt with all 4 times I called) accused me of trying to scam them for free food and was yelling at me about calling and complaining WHEN I DIDNOTEVENWANT A REFUND!!! I had to yell over her just to get a word in and then I ended up hanging up on her because she was just so mean and rude! DONOTEATHEREEVER! ITS A WASTEOFYOURHARDEARNEDMONEYAND A INSULTTOYOURINTEGRITY!

We were treated terribly. When we got in, we didn’t even get service. The other people who came in after us got the menu making us wait like dogs. Who needs that? We walked out. Good riddance.

Horrible service and they tried to rip us off!!! I was there with 23 other friends. The server tried to cramp 5 of us into a small booth. And here is the worse part, the owner told the server in chinese«change the menu, its a large group» and they replace the lunch menu(from which other customer order their food) with the dinner menu which is each $ 6 more expensive!!! They didnt know that one of us speaks chinese. Too bad for them, lucky for us!!! We walked away immediately!!!

Horrible quality and quantity, with a unreasonable price tag. Do not come here! For $ 8, we got only 4 less than thumb sized shrimp for our coconut prawns as appetizers. The Pad Thai is too wet and doesn’t even taste like Pad Thai.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We were in Estes Park for the last night and wanted good food. Most places in Estes are poorly rated, but this place had good food reviews. We weren’t necessarily looking to eat Chinese food(or Thai) in the mountains, but went anyway. We were exhausted from a week of mountain activities and this place was quiet around 8:30 on a Saturday night. The service was quick, attentive and friendly. I’m not sure, but I think it was the owner that served us and we enjoyed talking to him. We ordered the Hunan Chicken, which was standard in style, but exceptional in flavor. It tasted like the ingredients were fresh and it was prepared with care. This place also has some Thai options. I’ve always wanted to try Drunken Noodles and opted for that. Wow. It hit all the right notes. It was sweet and savory and just a bit spicy. The noodles were thick and delicious. If we are ever in Estes again, this place will be one of the first spots we hit.

We stopped here on a rainy day in Estes Park because we were craving some comfort food. We were two adults and two kids(10, 8) Our son is a finicky eater and I asked if I could just get a bowl of rice with some chicken in it. We couldn’t. I asked again, they wouldn’t do it. That upset me. Really? That’s poor customer service in my book. On the other hand, the food was terrific. We ordered off of the menu and it was all really yummy. Our son even enjoyed the noodles and chicken. My main gripe? Customer service

What a find!!! Honestly, this was the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! My husband and I discovered this restaurant when the local Thai restaurant was closed. Boy, were we the lucky ones!!! Ate there two days in a row. Owner is a jewel! Such a pleasant woman and very tuned in to tourism and how it effects her business. Kudos to her and PLEASE do yourself a favor and give this place a try when in Estes Park!

We had looked at the reviews, they had good and bad as with any restaurant. We like to try places no matter what, and give our own opinions. This place is well worth a visit. My wife and I split the cheese and basil wontons and they were excellent. The hot and sour soup was on point, not the best I’ve ever had, but very good. My wife hade the chicken with snow peas and I had the triple Kung pao(with chicken, beef, and shrimp) not exact name but close. Both were made with fresh ingredients and probably the best we have ever had. Large portions. Reasonable prices. Service was excellent, however there was only one waiter, but she did an excellent job. There were only 3 tables of guest while we were there. I did see many locals coming in for to go orders. I would recommend to everyone.

This is a hidden treasure in Estes Park! We were not satisfied by the food options in Estes Park on our visit in fall 2014. Unilocal had really good reviews for China Garden Asian Grill though. Chinese food is not something I get too experimental with, especially when traveling, and especially in small towns that generally don’t have good food options. Thank you for busting my preconceived idea, Unilocal! We made two visits in our week stay in Estes Park in the fall, and a followup visit was listed among the highlights in a quick spring 2015 trip to Estes Park. Menu: 5 stars The menu has just about everything you’d want from a Chinese food restaurant. I don’t recall searching for something they didn’t have. Atmosphere: 4 stars The restaurant is very quiet, comfortable, and your typical hole-in-the-wall Chinese place. Nothing special, but nothing off-putting either. Waitstaff: 4 stars The service itself is great, but the wait time is inconsistent. We ordered take-out for our 2nd visit, and it was twice as long as quoted, and the restaurant was filled with people waiting for their order. No issues when we dined in the 1st and 3rd time though, and there didn’t seem to be people waiting for their takeout. Food: 5 stars This place is likely the best Chinese food place I’ve ever been to. I’d have to compare it to my previous favorite in California again to confirm. The flavors are fresh, light, and complex. I order the General Tso’s Chicken. It’s spicy, bright, and not a goopy mess of sugared sauce. The chicken is white meat, only lightly breaded, and since the sauce is lighter and thinner, it stays crunchy. The Egg Drop Soup is thick, flavorful, and not overly salty. The combination fried rice is fantastic and not at all the typical salty and greasy! Hubby gets the Hunan Beef and it’s really flavorful, and the beef is so tender. Price: 4 stars The price is on the higher side, but not out of line with the quality. It definitely has not kept me from returning, and I plan to return again on my next trip to Estes Park! Overall: 5 stars I put more weight in the food than anything else, and this place earns a strong 5 stars because of it’s consistent good food. I can’t wait to visit Estes Park again so I can have some good Chinese food!

Food comes out quickly, is fresh(the veggies are crisp, not wilted) and tasty. As other reviewers have mentioned, the actual restaurant is not a sight for sore eyes, but it gets the job done. I had beef and broccoli and hubby had peanut sauce curry. We both really enjoyed our meals and had plenty for leftovers. One downside is that the only choice as a side for entrees is steamed rice(as opposed to brown or fried rice), but it’s a minor minus. Overall this is a great little place off the beaten path that I’d go to again.

Great Chinese and Thai food. Nice portions. Super fresh veggies, cooked perfectly… Still crisp! Low prices… $ 10 – 15. Lots of comfy booth seating. Fast preparation and service too. Much better than I might have guessed! Just what I was hoping for!

Sign just says Chinese restaurant(big red awning in front). Typical small Chinese joint, no frills, but good food, good price, fairly hefty servings. Nothing we had was too spicy. Lots of parking. Egg rolls were good but not great. Hot and sour soup was excellent. I had the cashew chicken, very good sauce. My wife had the veggie chicken, much healthier, the sauce was good but a little thick. Overall an excellent meal for the price and location.
