Hacinenda Real

So this address took us to a restaurant that’s actually called La Cabaña. Regardless, this place was great! We came up to Estes for my husband’s birthday which happens to be the day before Valentine’s Day. We decided to get the Valentine’s day special which was the «Plato Amor» and it was fantastic. It came with two house margaritas which were amazing and a plate for two that included carne asada, camarones a la diabla, rice, beans, and four tortillas all for $ 25. It was more than enough for the two of us. All of the food was perfect and the service was amazing as well. If we come up to Estes again we will definitely be back!

Food is excellent– much better than the other Mexican restaurants in town. Sign says La Cabana and is confusing to find but well worth the hunt.

The entrance to La Hacienda Real is hard to find, but it is well worth the effort. The marguerita is the best I have had in years, not too sweet, lots of flavor. The views are fabulous, reason to go there, but the food is truly delicious! We have a home in Estes Park and this is a great treat for locals. The food is traditional Mexican, well-​prepared, and inventive. I had the pollo culichi, a chicken dish with a spinach and mushroom sauce with roasted peppers, a combination new to me, but amazing. This was our first visit, but we will be back to sample the whole, huge, yummy menu.
