This is a very fun bar with a very pretty view of the river. The drinks are a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. The daiquiris are made right in front of you with fresh fruit! Basically it’s a really fun experience with great drinks. Prices are a little high but it’s so fun you don’t mind.

I really really really want to go to a tiki bar. This one is my closest option and it’s 45 minutes away. I checked their website, which VERYSPECIFICALLY stated as of April, they were open for the 2015 season and open till 10 pm on Saturdays. We drove through a rainstormy, mountain canyon and found a dark, sad and CLOSED tiki bar at 6pm. Boo. It’s fairly terrible business practice to not stick to the hours your website says. Other reviews tell me this may be a chronic habit of this bar. I wanted fruity booze in a tacky tropical setting. I didn’t get fruity booze in a tacky tropical setting. But the Phở/Thai joint on the other side of the river was yummy and got our money instead.

I was so excited to stop here this afternoon but it was closed. No signage, just closed. Was really looking forward to it. No signs closed for season is it closed for good?

Attempted to go here on Saturday 11÷29÷14. It appears to be closed for good. Possibly just closed down for the winter.

Great little gem in Estes. Their house marg. can’t be beat. The owners are super nice and the place is very clean. I’d come back here anyday.

Was booted for asking for ice cubes for my rum n coke instead of a cup full full of sno-cone ice. You dont know whether to eat it or drink it or wait fro the whole thing to melt down to a watery disappointment. I suggested they use ice cubes in their well drinks and was told this is how they do it, just like Sonic, if I didnt like it, then go back to wherver I came from. When i told the owner that Estes has been home for almost 20 years and he said leave now and never come back… WOW! We had entered«The Tourist Zone» a place where volumetric dimensions and rational economics are warped!

What a lovely spot! Shady tables right on the river, delicious and strong margaritas with home-made margarita mix with fresh lemon. Had grilled fish sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich both with a spicy aioli that was really tasty. Also a hot dog and hamburger at our table that disappeared quickly. Sweet potato fries were skinny and yummy with the aioli. And the super yummy impulse purchase? — fried pickle spears! Yum, for sure. Wah wah to the price complainers — prices were fine considering food and ambiance were so solid. I could see losing track of a few days here…

Food was good but overpriced. Since everything was a la cart, the cost adds up. Spent nearly 50.00 for 3 sandwiches, 3 fries and 3 drinks. Food is prepared on a large frier and deep fat frier. Nothing special, but the Siracha aolei on fish was tasty. Sweet potato fries could have used a sweet salty seasoning. The only seating was outside which was very cute Tiki bar motif along the canal with a nice variety condiment bar. Owner was funny and welcoming and worked his butt off behind the grill while 2 teen boys ran around effectively trained to get the orders out. I would rather have a combo for less money and would like to see Po Boys on the menu, he already had oysters, and other seafood, fish tacos would also be fun.

The ambience is something. All food items are pretty much a la carte meaning a hamburger costs the same as a chain restaurant, but it does not come with a side. I would say throw some fries in or cut a dollar or two off the initial cost and it would be worth it. As it stands now, a little over priced.

Make sure you stop in at this place when you are in Estes. Simple walk behind Elkhorn. Paul and Sally are owners that will make you feel welcome. Drinks are awesome. Sit by the creek, listen to the SiriusXM Margaritaville station, and voila you have the beach bar experience at altitude. 4 stars since I didn’t try any food, so can’t comment on it. Definitely will come back here.

Fun little piece of the tropics in the mountains! The owner is also the bartender and is very friendly and hospitable! The décor is fun, Hawaiian, and makes you feel like it’s not high up in the Rocky Mountains! The drink menu is the same with tropical and Hawaiian flare! The drinks were strong and tasty! I would highly recommended getting whatever you have with 151 as a floater or side shot! We did not have food, they do offer a typical Sysco bar menu with lots of fried treats! Next time in we will check out the food!

Dr. Sally fixed me and my cold up right. Even brought my voice back. This bar has come a long way since the beginning and it just keeps better! The décor is far and away better than any bar in this town and the food goes perfect with the drinks!!! I will keep coming back! Thank you Paul and Sally!!!

This was one the best stops my husband and I made during our stay in Estes! I was looking for a yummy frozen drink– and of course the Tiki Bar had a whole list of them… And they had beer for the hubby–(full bar).23 had some delicious sweet potato fries. Located right ONTOP of the BigThompson river– we had a great time sitting outside near it. The owners Sally and Paul are super nice and friendly– great service! Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in town :)

Maybe not the best tiki bar in the world but definitely one of the better bars in Estes Park. Very good patio on the river with some mountain peekaboo views. $ 2.50 PBRs all the time and solid fresh mint mojitos. Great spot off the crazy tourist path with some good munchy options. Will definitely make the regular rotation when we’re in Estes.
