Customer service was meh but fine. The displays were crowded. I finally circled around and around until I found a few things I liked. I know it’s hard to run a family business or really any small business. But it’s hard to write an overall review of Johnson’s when the products are so clearly marked up that no other component of the shopping experience comes to mind except for the sky-high pricing model on which this shop depends to survive. No way am I going to pay $ 110 for a cotton blend shirt that I can purchase at the mall for much less. Arguably, the quality of many garments here simply don’t merit such a markup. And many of the brands carried here can be purchased at Dillard’s or even Wal-Mart for a fraction of the price. I love the history here and the pretty building itself. Gosh I don’t mean to take a position on capitalism or anything but I wish it would overhaul it’s business approach and revitalize it’s entire concept. So that it can thrive instead.

Went in here to look for shoes and felt like the staff were staring me down and whispering to each other the entire time, which made me very uncomfortable. Not once did they say hello or offer any assistance. When I finally found something I liked, I asked if they had any more items in the back since they didn’t have my size, and the woman just sighed heavily as if she was annoyed and told me no. Will not be returning to this establishment ever again, as I felt unwelcome the entire time.

Best place to buy clothes and shoes in Etowah. You have to pay for it, but the clothes are always top quality and the service is always good.
