Any Brusters hands down serves the best ice cream. This one is no different than the others. Unfortunately this location is only open seasonally now. Love the rotating flavors — always something new to try.

While the staff is prompt and on the ball, all the ice cream I’ve ever had here wreaked of artificial flavoring. Imagine apple pie ice cream… did you expect it to taste like A sour apple Jolly Rancher? Me neither, but it did — and there was no apple, or pie crust etc… to be found. Overrated and overpriced. You’d be better off with something from the grocery store freezer.

End of summer, 90+ degrees. The cicadas are humming, the smell a freshly mowed lawn is everywhere — you need ice cream! Bruster’s features a creamy blend with a lot of different flavors. Cookies N Cream is loaded with chunks of oreo cookies in a tasty vanilla. Double Chocolate Chunk offers a contrast between nice bites of chocolate embedded in a creamy smooth chocolate — not overly sweet, just right. Quarts run about $ 5.40. A few small tables and a bench are the only seating. Bring a cooler and bring home a quart or two.

Surprising that this location has no reviews yet. I routinely see loads of people in line here waiting for a sweet treat. Always friendly workers being the counter waiting to make your fatty dessert type item. They have a pretty decent knowledge about whatever goes in a flavor. I enjoy throwing them pop quizzes. Also they don’t have a problem with getting you a sample of something if you desire. They have a website that allows you to txt and request flavors and they will also e-mail you whenever a type of ice cream you love comes in. This location is also partnered with Nathans hot-dogs like the others that are in the area. So feel free to grab that chili-dog as well to round out your high calorie day.
