This is a comfortable, clean and convenient place to stay when you have business in Eufaula. Their wireless was out this week when I stayed the night, which was a pain, but apparently my bill may be adjusted. Also the breakfast had no coffee, which was a bummer, I think the staff working that morning were confused as to how to brew it correctly. The rooms are not very soundproof, so you may want to request a room away from those with young kids, otherwise you will hear every tear. It’s all part of the road warrior life. Staff was friendly, hotel is clean and comfy enough.

I have family in Eufaula, and every time we visit we’ve stayed at this hotel. Each time we stay here, I’m impressed by this hotel. Here’s the thing: this is a teeny tiny small town. There aren’t too many options for places to stay. I was worried at first that a lack of competition might make them slack off here, That’s not the case at all. I’m continually impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel, the friendly staff, and the low price. The rooms are all non-smoking, clean and bright, they have free wifi, and they also offer a small fitness center and an indoor pool. It’s not the Ritz, but I’m not expecting that. Each room has a microwave and small fridge, which is nice if you want to pick up some groceries. They have a free breakfast, but we generally skip that. There’s a gas station up the street, so you can grab some beer and snacks late at night if you feel like it. There is plenty of closet and drawer space, and the room is a pretty decent size. Some even come with Jacuzzi tubs, but they’re right next to the bed and that seems… tacky. Sure, there aren’t a TON of channels-who cares, it’s the hotel! You don’t just sit in your room all day and watch TV. The staff is really friendly, always checking us in with a smile. We went to the front desk for extra coffee, and they gave us a ton. It’s quiet in here, and the parking lot has plenty of room. I will say that some of the rooms could use a bit of refreshing-ours had a water stain on the ceiling. This is an inexpensive hotel, run by a friendly staff that obviously cares about what they do. We’ve never been disappointed here, and I always leave impressed by our stay. There are some crappy hotels out there, chain or not, and this is definitely not one of them. We’ll be back next time we’re in town, and I’m sure our stay will be as good as it always is.

Keep your expectations in check folks. This is a Best Western. It’s Eufaula. Their idea of extra hospitality is to leave the Bible open on the table and provide a breakfast of carbs and sweets. Bless their simple small town hearts. The desk manager was very nice and let us check in early since our room was ready. You get a clean basic room that’s just comfortable enough for a night or 2. The second morning I was definitely ready to get home to my bed. I like the microwave-fridge combo so I can bring my own breakfast. The internet connection is free and speedy on the download but if you’ve got a large file to upload, good luck. You’re gonna be there a while. The flat screen TV is pretty low end and the channel selection is small. You get three small pillows on a king bed and three thin towels. It’s quiet enough, just dont’ get a room on the highway side. On my last visit we didn’t have a «do not disturb» sign so housekeeping came knocking early. I wasn’t ready to leave for the lake yet and when I told her it would be another hour she seemed quite put out. I exchanged towels with her, but she never did come back and freshen the room. Sorry honey, no tip for you! I’ve stayed here a few times and I’ll probably be back.
