Dr. Gittens is by far the best chiropractor I have ever been to. I am a former basketball player who is 6’11″ and pose some serious challenges for most chiropractors. No joke, I have been to over 15 different chiropractors over the years. Dr. Gittens was revered by another basketball player and I can only say that I will never go anywhere else for my adjustments.

I haven’t tried these folks for chiropractic, but I’m a devoted fan of their physical training program, which utilizes super slow weight lifting to help resolve chronic back pain. I’ve been going there for a few years off and on — originally with Ed, now with their new trainer Eric — and it’s done more to resolve my back pain than anything else I’ve tried, including physical therapy. If you have back pain and your doctor says that strengthening the muscles would help, I strongly recommend this program.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Gittens for about 15 years. He has always worked with my needs and was sensitive to my fears. When I’ve been in an accident or have thrown out my back and was worried he would still adjust me the same, as soon as I told him how hurt I was, he was very gentle. I’ve always gone when I could and he’s never pressured me to see him more than I could afford to. I would highly recommend seeing Dr Gittens at this office.

My wife and I have been going to back2strength for about 4 years. Dr. Powell is pretty much the nicest person you could meet. The review from Debra O. was completely insane. Look at her other 2 reviews on Unilocal.No good reviews. Just blasting people. Not a true Unilocaler. Looks like she’s just a negative person.
We have 2 small children and my wife saw Dr. Powell regularly during BOTH pregnancies. Truth be told, I think she liked Dr. Powell more than me during each pregnancy! I’ve seen him as well and can’t say how many times he’s saved me from back pain, leg pain, neck pain, etc…
The staff is equally as friendly. Our family is in the process of moving out of Eugene, but will miss these guys badly! They are CONSISTENT, KIND, HELPFUL, and EXTREMELY GOOD.
