I was very excited to visit here based on their website. Employees were unhelpful, barely polite, and didn’t want to be bothered with helping me locate a particular plant. No greeting, no «can I help you find something,» no offer of assistance at all. Two stars for plant variety and reasonable prices. Will not be back.

This place is pretty awesome. I came in wanting a certain kind of tree that they didn’t have but they directed me somewhere that did. Just because of that good service, I picked up a few trees. If you’re in the market for anything garden related come by here!

Best place in the Willamette Valley for ANYTHING yard/plant related. Be sure to ask for Jason, he’s a stud!

Bloomer’s is great. It’s the kind of local business that you feel good about supporting because you get the feeling that these are good people. They offer a selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees — though nowhere near as many as Johnson Brothers does, at about a quarter their size. But the staff are knowledgeable & friendly, always happy to help. The plants look healthy and are of good size. More than anything, they have the best prices in town. Their nursery is right next door to their retail, so they may be the one business to actually make good on that claim to save you money by «cutting out the middleman». Example: a healthy gallon of black mondo grass runs I think $ 8.99 — four or five bucks more at Gray’s for an anemic one. Every time I shop here, it reminds me how jacked I’m getting on prices down at Gray’s.
