Good not great. Maybe I’m biased because I grew up in SoCal and I can make more authentic mexican breakfast cusine at home. But the prices are great and the plates are good sizes. If you need a food filling meal on the cheap this is a good choice, especially if you’re not familiar with home made mexican food.

The little and I absolutely love this place. You don’t come here for the atmosphere or the art hanging on the walls. You come here because the food is fantastic. Siena is our go to place for breakfast. The portions are huge and delicious. This review is for the plates, ie farmer’s and the like. I’m not a crêpe or breakfast sandwich person, but they look good and seem to fly out the door. The plates are huge and will bust your gut with deliciousness. I highly recommend Café Siena for the combination of good value, proximity to campus, and flavor. You simply won’t find a better breakfast in Eugene.

Probably one of the best crepes I’ve ever had! Came in with the boyfriend the other day and ordered a strawberry chocolate crêpe, pancakes, and a cream cheese bagel sandwich! The boyfriend originally ordered a crêpe, but unfortunately they didn’t have enough of the batter! Regardless, my crêpe came out pretty big with a good amount of whipped cream, cinnamon, and strawberry preserves! Super delicious. 10⁄10 would recommend! It sort of reminded me of a crêpe cake! My boyfriend loved his bagel sandwich and his pancakes were thick and fluffy! He really enjoyed them and he tends to be picky about his breakfast food! Yay! Kudos to this cute little joint for a having really good menu with a mix of burritos and breakfast items!

We happened across this place looking for somewhere to have breakfast while traveling. The food was great. My wife had a spinach and cheese crêpe and I had a potato, egg and bacon burrito. Both were excellent. Place is simple, prices are good. Only real down side for us was that they do not heat the place and it was cold the day we went. Would definitely go back.

This place was a big surprise. A terrific surprise. We had fantastic breakfasts on our first visit. We will be making Café Siena a regular stop for a casual, low key breakfast with top notch Mexican food, generously tasty crepes and decent coffee all at very reasonable prices.

The Farmers skillet is so yummy. And they cook it right in front of you which is kind of cool. They also have a great cup of coffee and lots of fixings on the side

I ordered a chocolate crêpe, it was bland and small, despite being told it was enough for two people. It was $ 8.00. Crepes are so inexpensive to make, if you’re going to charge me $ 8.00 for flour and baking soda it better be flipping delicious. I ordered a side of potatoes too because, you know, the crêpe has zero sides that come with it for $ 8.00. The small bowl of unseasoned, old, freezer bag potatoes cost $ 4.00. Okay now I’m really upset. My boyfriend ordered a big beef burrito and it’s literally the smallest burrito I’ve ever gotten anywhere. It’s 7.50, unseasoned, comes with unseasoned beans and unseasoned rice. For the extra money you might as well add some damn salt to the food. Thanks for ruining my anniversary breakfast!

I have missed this place ever since I graduated in 2010. I miss you, small chicken burrito.

Omelettes were amazing! Everyone says the creapes were great but my family found them too thick and not flavorful.

I remember walking past this place long ago when I was in Eugene and deciding not to order here. Today I went in for the breakfast burrito because I was starving… against my better feelings, because the regular plates were around $ 7.50. As I kind of thought, my $ 5 burrito was about half the size of a Portland burrito and of lesser quality. I cannot speak for the other dishes of course. But I have had breakfast burritos in Portland that have cancelled out all other meals for the day. While with this little burritto-ette, starvation was kept at bay, I can’t say much else for it. Like a lot of these places, you probably get a lot of food when you shell out the minimum threshold. But if you go under that threshold to be thrifty or quick, meh.

Love this place! I came here a lot in college, but always make sure I stop by when I visit Eugene. The family the owns it is too sweet. Just today I thought I misplaced my credit card and had just ordered, the owner told me it would be ok if I came back to pay tomorrow. Luckily I found my card, but just the fact he offered went way above and beyond. The breakfast burritos are good but I now usually go for the Farmers Breakfast. A lot of delicious food for a great price.

This is the worst place to eat in town, as far as breakfast. They obviously get there ratings from starving students. I ordered huevos rancheros and it was two soggy flour tortillas with huge amount of beans, and eggs. Horrible looking and tasting. Only took one bite. Then my friend ordered a dish that comes with cripsy tortillas and instead they used tortilla dough, yes I said dough. Absolutely disgusting. I will never return.

I always enjoyed the big burritos for brunch in between classes. This place is more of a dive but sometimes it is nice when things are simple and to the point.

They’re fairly nice, but I tried to order 2 things that had bell peppers in the veggie mix. I can’t eat bell peppers. Boyfriend told them I’m allergic. I went with a spinach crêpe & again asked ARETHEREBELLPEPPERS. They put bell peppers in half my crêpe. What the hell? They did give us a little extra horchata, so maybe the counter guy is cool but the cook is a jerk. The bathroom is very clean — surprising for a tiny bathroom in a tiny restaurant populated by college kids. Boyfriend likes some big meat burrito. He’ll probably eat there again, but I won’t be back.

Bagel sandwich is good and definitely worth the money! $ 4.25 bought me a fresh bagel with a fried egg, tomato slice, spinach, and a slice of cheese. Sounds simple but I promise you it’s not easy to find something this homemade around campus. I deducted a star because my coffee came in a large glass instead of a mug.

Mediocre crêpe with butter and jam. Burrito was good. I would choose other places, such as pancake house and off the waffle, for a brunch.

Always looking for a good place for breakfast in Eugene. Café Siena fits the bill: very good, although not great. Authentic Mexican food, like you’d find in a mercado in Mexico, although nothing special. Prices are good, quantity excellent. Service okay(good, but I appreciate a smile and a friendly greeting). Huevos Rancheros appeared bland on serving, but hit the pocket of salsa in the middle and Oh My, Yes! Teenage son pronounced the Mexican Breakfast very good as well. Disappointed to get a styrofoam container when we asked for a takeout box(in Eugene!?), and surprised, being in a university district, that there was no wi-fi. But yes, I’ll definitely be back for the food. Note: one online review said this place was Closed — Permanently. Not true.

Consistent flavors, speedy wait times, generous portions, Café Siena is a great«dive» on campus. Their breakfasts are really good here-egg dishes, crepes(sweet and savory options), burrito and quesadillas, and bagel sandwiches for those on the go. Breakfast items are available all day long, and more than once have I indulged in the Eugene’s best huevos rancheros after the noon hour. Fresh squeezed OJ or strong coffee makes rounds out the meal. I chose 3 stars because some items are microwaved(burrito fillers not containing egg), and my personal preference for humanely raised protein sources and organic produce, which at Siena’s prices, I assume their suppliers do not fall into that category. Bottom line: Café Siena offers the best breakfast on campus in terms of value, flavor and consistency.
