Who would have thought I’d have a favorite storage facility?
The people behind the front desk and the owner are awesome. When I first moved in, they came out and helped me. They lent me a drop cloth when I wanted to move my table and was worreid about scuffing it. Everytime I went in there everyone was incredibly friendly, nice, and beyond fair. The facility was clean, secure, and accessible. I’ve used several storage facilities in my life, and this was the best, by far.

I liked Castle because
–it’s far enough from town to feel safe, but close enough that I can bike, bus, or drive to it easily (and it’s near good routes for all those modes).
–the front desk staff was friendly and gave me free bottles of water.
–the facility seemed new and was always impeccably clean. It would be utterly pleasing to the senses of any obsessive-compulsive.
–the bathrooms were clean too.
–my stuff didn’t get damp over the winter.
–I got a free lock and a free month for paying by credit card.
–they let me cancel my lease on less than thirty days’ notice. (Your mileage may vary, of course.)
–it was neat seeing what kinda stuff others stored in the jumbo units: cars, home appliances, !!!
Every trip to my Castle Storage unit was like going to the mall, except I never had to pay for what I took home. I miss it!
