Cat Dossett – I Take Photos

Cat’s work is absolutely breathtaking! She made me feel so beautiful and created such a comfortable environment when she shot my senior photos. It is obvious that photography is Cat’s passion and it shines through in all of her work. It is so nice to work with someone who is extremely talented at what they do. I have never been more satisfied with personal photographs and I will recommend her to anybody!

We have utilized Cat’s services on several occasions, most recently this summer for our son’s engagement and subsequent wedding. Her eye for detail and use of lighting are amazing. We also used her for our first professionally done family photo shoot, and I was thrilled with the results. Cat is so professional and able to pull the best from her subjects. She is also a highly skilled editor — for our family beach photos I made the unfortunate choice of a bright raspberry bra, and the straps were super visible under my dress. She used editing to change the strap colour to blue so they wouldn’t be noticed. I didn’t even realise it until she told me!
She’s beginning to get noticed by her peers, and her work has been featured on regional and national blogs. I’m proud to have recognised her talent before that and unreservedly recommend her.

My family always goes to Cat when we need photos done! She has done amazing work for us, including but not limited to family photo shoots (she drove all the way to Garibaldi for us!), my parents for their 25^th anniversary, birthday extravaganzas, and we are SO excited for her to be shooting my brother’s wedding this July in Hillsboro! Cat is so easy and wonderful to work with; she wants you to be happy with not only the outcome but the process as well. I’ll definitely be going to her when I need graduation pictures taken at UO, and I recommend her for any event at which you need professional photos done at.

Cat Dossett has photographed me a number of times for different occasions. Artistic photoshoots, headshots, she even photographed my Thesis defense last year. Her talents never cease to amaze me. I have recommended her to friends for weddings where she also did an amazing job.
