Gaahhh why has this place closed? I love Cold Stone. They know how to do toppings the right way: Lots of them, and as many add-ons as you like. Their ready-made quarts are great too, their flavor combinations are at once refreshing and classic. I guess I carry some small part of the blame :/I stopped going here after I discovered Red Wagon Creamery. As much as I love Cold Stone, and as nice as it was to have one close to home, they just can’t quite compete with Red Wagon. Still, I’m going to miss you, Coldstone, but I’m sure we’ll meet again in another city!

First off I should know better then to get frozen yogurt at an ice cream store. But, I do like chocolate yogurt so in a moment of weekness ordered it. Bad idea. If you like ice crytals in your frozen desert, with that old(I’ve been here to long) flavor, you might like this. I suppose if it had been worked over like the ice cream is it might have been salvagable. My wife did have the ice cream, which she graciasly shared with me, and it was what I expect when I pay that much for a desert. Maybe the yogurt should have a «pull by date» since it obviously doesn’t get eaten much. I will come back again, but never for the yogurt. For that I will go to TCBY.

Cold Stones has a CRAZY good ice cream system going on. They have a wide variety of flavors, and lots of toppings to mix it up. I believe I got a cookie dough with crushed waffle cones and apple cinnamon topping. My wife, Niece, and I all came here for a sweet treat one evening. My niece insisted on paying(I never been here before, but i wasn’t letting my niece buy us ice cream!) but I won the battle of paying the bill. And I seeeee whyyyyyyyyy i won this battle… for 3 ice creams it came to about $ 25. Although, my niece threw a tip in the jar cuz she wanted to hear them sing, and they replied with, «Do you really want us to sing?» I couldn’t blame them, it was kinda funny, but what do you expect from a bunch of high-schoolers. If your looking for DAMN good ice cream go to Cold stones, you’ll be happy, but bring you wallet, cuz it’s spendy frozen moo juice.

Here’s the thing about Cold Stone: the ice cream here is basically as delicious as ice cream can be… that is to say, it’s really flippin’ good(I personally recommend the Cake Batter variety). Combine this unbelievably creamy, thick and smooth ice cream with a veritable myriad of add-in candies, cookies and chocolates, and you have yourself one fantastic treat. That said, they of course realize this and charge ridiculous prices. It’s also an evil corporate chain, and as such steals business from non-evil, non-corporate non-chains. Finally, the servers sing a random short song every time they receive a tip. Sadly, this is the main reason why I don’t tip here(closely followed by the $ 4 cost for a small dish of ice cream). It’s sad because, of all food servers, they actually have unique skills they use when they scoop the ice cream out and hand mix the add-ins in on the«cold stone countertop.» If you are the type of person that enjoys being serenaded by untrained balladeers, who are probably embarrassed to have to do so, then by all means tip away. Also, good luck finding it as it’s buried back in the courtyard, which is out of sight from the road and parking lot, even. Because you should go here at least once, I’ll help you out — the entrance to this courtyard is basically halfway between Trader Joes and Borders.
