Beautiful garden and dank ass jello shots, but the owner is kind of a dick. If he wasn’t so seksi I wouldn’t keep coming. I mean coming back. Also, I had a dream last night in which the other owner, Eric, thought he was a cat. What a weirdo, right? The sushi was a little underprepared though, it was still swimming in the pond.

I have to disagree with Lee, which is unusual, because he only gave Garden #8 three stars and wrote no rap. I thought Garden #8 was lovely. My only complaint is that the koi looked a little dangerous and they had very big mouths. However, the signage kept me from tripping, falling, or otherwise drowning in the koi pond. I would definitely return, especially if invited for many drinks. I hope the signs stay up to keep me safe at that juncture.

This is THE most BEAUTIFUL garden in Eugene, hands down!!! Wow! Garden-owners Eric & James — what terrific guys they are! — have created a place that is quintessential Eugene; embodying its colorful, very unique history in the form of a sleek, modern and delicious garden!!! Relax in the TOTALLYPEACEFUL teahouse with friends, enjoy the many GIANT koi or spend a comfortable afternoon reading in the AMAZING and COMFORTABLE sunken lawn! Who thinks of that??? Wow!!! I wanted to ask one of them about how they built the AMAZING sunken lawn, but there were three other people in front of me, waiting to ask the same question! My wife is certain they’d excavated it, but I’m just as convinced that rather than digging into the existing plane, they built up the yard around it! I’m guessing they constructed the walls and then brought in maybe ten truckloads of dirt! And then, I guess, raised up all the trees! I guess we’ll never know! But I only wish Unilocal would let me give them six stars!!!
