The Hott Buns cart took my Baozi V-​Card, and I liked it. The buns were soft and supple, but good sized. Exactly what a first timer like me was looking for.
I tried the Baccon, Rooster, and Hambure (and yes that’s how they’re spelled). The ingredients were said to be local whenever and wherever possible; the ingredients well thought out.
I have to say, its a very nice alternative to the usual lips and assholes post-​bar fodder. I’ll certainly be making my way back by the Hott Buns Baozi cart when I am in good need of delicious steamed Chinese rolls.
