Went in and had Summer cut and color my hair. My A line bob is perfect and the color turned out beautifully! She did exactly what I asked for. The new location is great and has plenty of parking. I will definitely be returning.

I cried after getting a haircut from the owner. It is shorter than what I asked for and choppy. Very expensive and my friends reaction was «Don’t worry, it’ll grow out!» I went back to my old salon in Portland and my hairdresser there fixed it as best he could but it’s awful.
It was clean. The staff were nice although they were more focused on chatting with each other than paying attention to their clients. Location is fine and it was easy to set an appointment once I learned how. I think this place is best for people who want to focus on looking a bit weird or punk or have someone else decide how they are going to look. I like a hairdresser who will listen so I won’t be back.

Nikki is amazing! If you need a new aestheticians she is THE BEST IN EUGENE! I’ve been trying to get a good Brazilian here and finally found a good one! She used to wax me in California at Stript and was amazing! Now she’s here! Hard wax no strips and very little pain. Good at tweezing and clean up!

We stopped by on our way out of town, and my SO was looking to get his hair cut since he was long over due. We saw this place had great reviews so we walked over. Price is right, about 25 $ for a basic men’s hair cut, 35 $ for what he got, which included more texture. We were able to get an appointment with Kaitlin in an hour and a half and she was just the sweetest thing and she definitely knows her stuff. I showed her a picture of what he wanted done and she worked with him from there. And she did just an amazing job. Everyone was very nice. Plus, first time clients get ten dollars off their first hair cut :)

What can I say about Imagine. I have been a client of Sheri’s for almost 20 years. Her skill with cut and color is incredible. My hair has been through many phases and I appreciate Leah and Sage both have been really helpful with input. Not only is Sheri’s work perfection but she is very easy to talk to. Imagine is the kind of salon for people who want to establish with a stylist that has years of experience as well as a compassion for clients. Every time I have had a cut and color I come out feeling like I can take on the world. Not only from the outside but from the soul as well. The salon is inviting and everyone is made to feel like family.

I have been going to Sage for about a year and a half! She is absolutely amazing!!! I have never had a better haircut. So good of a haircut that I wait to get my hair done until I come home from LA. She is the only one who has been able to cut my hair so it doesn’t poof or look like I have mushroom hair! She is amazing! If you have thick wavy hair you would be crazy not to go to her! I’m fully serious she is amazing!

I did my research and called out of the blue — Jesse Jones took my call and booked me for a cut the very next day. Pictures in hand, I showed up and from that moment on, I felt that our conversation was solely focused on what I envisioned for my cut. Jesse was an active listener and his sincerity to «get it right» was spot on. Jesse has mastered his craft is I believe can do just about anything you want with hair.
Mind you, I’m particular and even though it’s just hair and it will grow back. I want to feel like I imagined I would when I get my hair cut — especially if I’m changing styles. That means that communication and skill must match up… that’s exactly what I got. I’ve found my hairdresser to whom I would recommend my friends and business colleagues.
This one’s a keeper!

I had my hair cut here by Leah a couple of years ago (who was the owner at the time, don’t know if she still is).
Was the worst haircut experience of my life! I brought several pictures, from different angles, of the haircut I wanted. The pictures were of my favorite haircut I’d had ON MY OWN HEAD, so seemed like it couldn’t have been clearer what I was asking for.
Leah proceeded to give me the haircut SHE felt like, without consulting me, all the while going on and on about being an «artist», and blah, blah, blah. She cut bangs. I didn’t want or ask for bangs. She gave me a haircut I HATED so much, that I wore my hair pulled back for weeks after she cut my hair. Even my friends seemed disturbed by the haircut. They said «huh, you look like a news anchor»…When I said I had my hair cut that day, nobody said «oh it looks good!» Very telling.
I called and asked for my money back. Leah was very snotty about it, said I had to come in and let her try to fix it. She said I needed to use product and flat iron it, that she’d find a product that I needed to use (i.e. she was asking me to spend MORE money to fix HER mistake). I told her I didn’t use styling products or have a flat iron before she started cutting my hair, and that I liked to have a low-​maintenance style.
So I begrudgingly made the appointment for her to «fix» it for the next week.
The day before I was scheduled to go in again, Leah called and left a message saying I didn’t need to come in, that she would mail me a refund check. When I got the check she had kept the tip! Ha! Worst experience ever.

I see Freya, because she knows how to cut my hair. As someone with pretty straight, fine hair, I have gotten a bad cut or two in my time, and she understands what I’m asking for, while layering it and styling it so I get a little extra body.
Imagine also has great décor, and a funky yet welcoming environment. Their music usually isn’t too bad either – fun mixes.

I’ve been going here for 5+ years and everyone is great! My personal favorites are Leah, Sage, Miranda and Jesse. I’ve never had anything less than a great haircut!
They work better when you give them a direction to go in or a picture and let them do what they do best.

Imagine has moved from 18^th street to Broadway and Olive, downtown Eugene. An incredible transformation from the strip center on 18^th! Sheri has been doing my hair since she worked at The Creative Id, which in it’s heyday was the classiest place in town to get your hair cut. They have plenty of top-​notch stylists and even take walk-​in appointments, although I suspect their most popular stylists (Sheri, Sage and owner Leah) are almost always booked far in advance. If you want «the cutting edge» — Imagine is the best!
