Sad!
Lawson’s Keyboard Center is closing after more than 30 years in business.
Drove by their shop on Willamette street today and their windows were covered with liquidation advertisements. Too bad I already have a piano-it’s not really an item I need more than one of.
It bums me out especially when local music stores shut their doors. Remembering from no-​too long ago places like Classical Gourmet and Wilson’s Music Center downtown, and now Lawson’s. Couple that with the dwindling resources for music programs in schools and it makes for a bleak future for those who love the arts.
