Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Eugene

I do not recommend, unless you want crappy service and the service manager raising your voice at you over the phone due to the car we purchased having some issues.

If I had to picture what the car dealer was like where Immortan Joe and the War Boys picked up their rigs in Mad Max: Fury Road, this would be it.
Cars parked any which way on the lot. Greasy sales staff slithering in and out of a back office with edicts on how to screw the next poor schlep. Babies crying. Popcorn all over the floor. Wide-​open cubicles where young, poor people were laying bare their worst financial information to ruthless salesmen in full hearing of the strangers all around them.
Overall, just an overarching feeling of doom.
We came here because the Dodge-​Jeep dealer where we live is a sad joke. And we were within inches of moving ahead on leasing a new Jeep. But after the salesman grossly insulted us by trying to low-​ball us on our trade-​in, we packed it up and left.
Crikey. What a mess.

I bought a Jeep Patriot on Jan 10^th. Within a few days I really felt like I wanted a few more frills, like the backup camera, upgraded tires, etc. Called my salesman back, Kyle. He and manager Blake worked it out so I could trade my vehicle back in and get the vehicle I really wanted. It was a smooth trade in, and I really appreciated Kyle and Blake going the extra mile to make sure I ended up with a vehicle I was happy with, and I love my new Jeep now.

After 15 years and 250,000 miles I sold the f-​350 crew 7.3 and purchased a new 2016 ram 2500 crew cummins. I love the truck… except, after a week I have a big leak through the a pillar into the cab. Drop it off at Lithia wait an hour for a shuttle and another 45min to get home. Kept it over night cannot find the problem. Another month goes by, LEAK. Another 2 hours between my arrival at Lithia and getting home. The found the problem, a leak in the sun roof. Parts are on back order for months. I have no covered area to keep the truck and work as a river guide towing a boat. They «might» be able to get me a compact car. The steelhead are safe for now. More later.

This review is 1.5 years in the making. I bought a used 2002 buick rendezvous here and it has seriously been a nightmare.
Short story is I invested about 8k into this vehicle between cost and repairs and now am dumping it for 1k. Yes, I am super excited about taking a 7 grand loss in a year and a half in a used vehicle.
Within 2 days of buying this car for 4k I had issues with the abs system. I was suspect of bad things to come So I got a 2^nd opinion at kendall.
These mother huckers had super glued part of the emissions system together instead of replacing the part so I had to get it replaced alongside the abs needed fixed.
1 month later the car stalls on me. Awesome! I take it in and they have no idea what the problem is obviously. Huck me for not getting a warranty on a 4 thousand dollar car.
At this point I should have cut my losses and got rid of it but I’m very frugle and planned to use it a long time. I finally realized any time I used the ac this thing would stall and took it in again. Still no resolve, just a shrug of the shoulders.
6 months into buying it, transmission goes out. Fml.
Here, take my 2500 dollars, I didn’t want them anyways.
A year in it begins to stall without using the ac and I’d have to be stranded 30 minutes for it to start back up.
Now 1.5 years in, it’s beginning to speed up when I don’t use the gas peddle so I constantly have to brake. Talk about great fuel economy. Then I shift it in park which normally sits at 1000 rpm is running at 3000 rpm.
Screw me in the arse.
I’m buying a brand new car from anyone but lithia.

Very happy customer. My wife and I had been searching for months for our new Jeep. When we finally found one outside of California we made the call to Lithia. The salesperson (Scott) was very helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to work with someone out of state. He was patient with all my questions and even worked with us dealing with our trade in.
I drove 1000 miles without ever having seen or driven the vehicle in person, but when I arrived it was perfect and 100% as described. They handled the deal quickly and efficiently and got me on my way back to California. They even handled the DMV paperwork for a different state.
I can’t say enough about these guys. I already have a friend who fell in love with our Jeep and wants one from these guys and I’d be ready to make the drive all over again.

These guys are amazing! My car was recently totaled and I wanted to replace my «baby» with the exact same outside/​inside interior color, features, etc just a newer model. There was not one to be found anywhere in CA so I checked out
and found a car I liked through Lithia. I have never purchased a car out of state, let alone site unseen, but the pictures looked good so I went for it. I first heard from Kyle. I requested extra pictures which he promptly sent. We had a bit of back and forth about the car and features, got the carfax, etc and everything looked good so I made an offer. Once we agreed on the price he sent me to Devon who FedEx’d me all the paperwork with a pre paid return label. As soon as he received it, and my payment went though, they trucked the car to me on their dime! Per Judge Milians advice (I watch a lot of Peoples Court) I had everything checked out by the local shop when the car arrived and so far everything is in tip top shape. The car had even more features/​general awesomeness than they listed on their site! I was most worried though about getting the car registered at the local DMV but I should have known better because Devon sent the title and all my original paperwork to my local office so when I arrived all I needed to fill out was the change of ownership form. These guys are seriously organized and this has been my easiest car purchase ever. So far the worst part was waiting for the car to come because I was so excited. Thanks Lithia!

These guys are just professional and terrific! They were timely and orderly with my buying process. Reading some other reviews on here make no sense to me! I met the management staff and they greeted me with a warm handshake and a smile. At times people have case by case bumps in their dealings but I’d tell you go see them yourself! Thanks guys for the painless transaction and keep up the amazing work you went out and beyond for my family and I! I’ll be sending anyone I can your way! Good luck in the new year

Rob Bennett is beyond rude. He has absolutely NO manners and zero customer service nor does he have values of any sort. We had to file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office to resolve our issue with Lithia Dodge Eugene. It was never really resolved to be honest. They sold me a Dodge Challenger that fell under the lemon law. Instead of replacing it, they decided to drag it on and on for 8 months. In the end they had to purchase the car back.
They are crooked in every way. Please check out the Attorney Generals office and read the complaints that have filed against them. Also read the complaints via google as well and Better Business Biureau. Rob Bennett is nothing but cancer. It must be hard to live like that… so much rage and hate. Everyone at that dealership looks miserable. When I told him my family comes first in all this, his reply «mine doesn’t, my dealership does». He is truly a horrible person and this dealerships shows how bad it has been managed.

Very unhappy with my purchase experience. I was told I would have a $ 0 deductible on my purchased insurance plan, turns out it’s $ 100. Also, my sales man told me he would do certain things that were never done. I will never be buying a car from this dealership again. I guess I should read the fine print a little bit more next time.

We went here to look at a used Grand Cherokee for my wife. They had a very low pressure salesman help us. That was greatly appreciated. On our test drive we went on a variety of roads, from freeway to side streets. Some dealers only let you take the vehicle out and make four right tuns and your back. After we agreed on a price we waited like 10 minutes for the finance guy to call us back to sign all the papers. One thing we opted to add was lithia’s unlimited oil change program for $ 500. If you plan on keeping the vehicle for a long time this will pay for itself. With the 3 month/​3000 mile change interval it will pay off after 4 years.

We worked with Jason to purchase a 2014 Chrysler 300. Jason did a soft sell, did not hassle on the advertised price & was knowledgeable about the car. Unlike other car dealerships, we did not spend hours & hours going back & forth over our trade in & the cost of the new car. I’m taking away one star because the finance guy did a very hard sell on purchasing a warranty for the car & that took more time than buying the car. We did purchase the warranty after much haggling over the price. Why not just say there are 3 tiers to the price instead of making us fight for a lower one? Despite this, we would buy another car from them.

Purchased a 2007 Passat with low miles last week for my son. He got about 30 miles out of town when the check engine light went on. Fortunately the car is still under warranty due to the year it was manufactured and low miles. The Eugene dealership arranged for the car to be evaluated at the Salem Volkswagen dealership, which is also a Lithia company. Salem dealership finds over $ 900 in repairs necessary; this in a car the Eugene folks claimed was in impeccable condition. I realize no one has a crystal ball and can predict when equipment might fail, but the valve cover gasket leaks and the battery is shot, both problems were detected by the Salem folks in the time it took us to eat lunch. I have my doubts that the Eugene people even evaluated the vehicle. To top it off, the Eugene dealership forgot to put the floor mats and backseat cupholders back in so they sent them to Salem to be installed while the rest of the service is being done on the car. Salem dealership wants between $ 60 and $ 95 to install the cupholders and the Eugene people (Devin and Kyle) are refusing to pay for something their team failed to do in the first place.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is the end of the troubles with this car, but Devin and Kyle could and should try to salvage something positive about this buying experience for us and at least cover the installation of the cupholders, for goodness sake! I would not recommend the Eugene dealership. On the other hand, Josh at the Salem Lithia Volkswagen has been extremely helpful and easy to work with.

Tyler did right by us in our hunt for a «toad» (car for towing behind a motorhome). He put our needs for practicality above his need to «sell, sell, sell» and did not try to over-​sell high end models. We appreciated his honesty and demeanor during our purchase process. Thank you Tyler!

After many visits to many dealerships in the area, I finally found my match at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Eugene. I worked with Jesse Owens and he was awesome from start to finish. He listened to what I wanted, answered my questions, and made me feel very comfortable with the entire process. I am so happy with my new vehicle and I couldn’t be more complimentary of the service I received. I walked away confident in my purchase and would recommend this team to anyone!

Update: the general manager got in touch with me via email to apologize and suggest that I contact the service manager to discuss my experience. I did, and he was friendly and helped to make the situation right. I don’t recall him apologizing necessarily, but he offered ways to make it right and asked what would make me feel better about it all. So 4 stars for the fact that they reached out to me, averaged with my previous 2 stars gives a 3 overall. Still really doubt that I would take it back for another detail, but I’m glad their customer service is still there. I do still plan to keep them as my first choice for any mechanical work and oil changes.

Just purchased a (barely) used 2012 VW GTI today, and had a great experience. The car had been sitting on the lot for a while and dropped to the price where I could no longer ignore it. Absolutely worth the trip from Portland – I’ve seen older, much higher mileage GTI’s being offered at the same price as the practically brand-​new one Lithia had. Big props to J.C. and the internet sales crew who handled my multiple emails and phone calls very well. Other than letting go of my beloved 1996 Subaru, the buying experience was painless – while extended warranties and other options were offered, I never felt pressured. I realize I was lucky to find such a great deal right from the start, but it never hurts to have good customer service.

I purchased a new jeep wrangler at Lithia in Eugene on Sunday and it could not have been a better experience. I am 52 years old and have never owned a new car — not because I cannot afford one but because :
A) I had thought that it made more economic sense to buy used
B) I had experiences at car dealerships when I was younger where I was treated terribly.
BUT … I found fantastic pricing on a jeep at Lithia in Eugene and decided to buy new. I traveled over 400 miles thinking that when I arrived I was going to have an unexpected «surprise» and learn that something about the deal had «changed».
The only unexpected thing that happened was that I was treated with respect and courtesy.
I highly recommend Kyle, JC and the finance manager Blake. When you are ready to shop a new car — you should call them.

My family and I recently bought two used cars from Lithia and had a very good experience, for a car purchase anyway :)
First things first, our salesman Fred was excellent. Seriously, I would ask for him by name if you decide to buy a car from this place. The other salespeople that we had interactions with weren’t nearly as knowledgable or personable. He took us onto a back lot to show us a Jeep Wrangler with a soft top instead of the hard tops they had in the front and that is where we found both cars we ended up buying.
Even though we came in looking for a new Jeep (around $ 25,000), we ended up buying two used cars (only $ 16,000) and his mood never changed throughout the entire experience. He never tried to push us towards the new Jeep, but he did point out the pluses and minuses to either purchase. I really felt that he did an excellent job taking our needs into consideration. It was not the typical car buying experience. Also, both cars were priced well from the start and we still haggled the prices down to what we felt was more than fair.
The only negative was the environment inside the sales floor. There were probably 20 salesmen just wandering around, watching tv, and making jokes with each other the entire time. We did not get the courtesy of having an office (or even a cubicle) to talk about prices in. Instead it was on the floor. There were four people in our party and they only had seats for two of us… rude.
Long story short: prices were fair, Fred was AWESOME, other salespeople were rude… pretty good experience overall, excellent experience if you consider the fact that Lithia is a car dealership.

One of the only places that I have ever been too, that a salesman was not even willing to say hello untill we were getting back in our car. I could understand if it was a rainy day, but it was nice a sunny without a cloud in the sky. Too busy eating their lunch I guess.
