Midtown Direct

Since transporting some items can be dicey, I never bring smoking goods with me when moving from one city to another. Having read reviews of head shops in Eugene, flame wars and all, I chose to cycle over to Midtown Direct.
I was served by an adorable boy with a dazzling smile. He deftly showed me the items in which I was interested, then somehow have me a REALLY big discount from their already low prices. The three simple items I bought here were less than $ 27. By comparison, the same basic setup cost us about $ 80 in Kansas City a couple of years ago.
Long live local growers, artisans, glassblowers, and friendly competition!

people below must never leave eugene. this shops got a below average selection at best. But then again as all of Eugene does. Save yourself money on basic things n go to another shop like cornerstone that can also make you your needs or hunkydory which is a bit bigger (first ones better ppl).
If for anything other than basic needs don’t shop for your glass in Eugene. Now that a lot of shops will ship, order from a cheaper CA shop n it being tax free while your IN Oregon is always nice n there’s a lot of reliable shops across the US that ship.
Midtowns even the closest shop to me but can’t support em when prices rob you.
For example a blast tube that would ordinarily be 20 – 30 $ comes with a metal clamp (under a dollar) and a mesh screen (even metal would be under a dollar still) and charge you 70 for it. It take a 15 $ adapter, throw a 10 cent screen in it and charge you an extra $ 10 and not tell you it’s 25 cuz there’s a worthless screen in it.
That type of shits jus robbing people essentially.
Sux, cuz the owner seemed friendly, but hey, they want you to buy there huh?

A little bit small, decent selection. Didn’t have the right size downstem for me one time. Overall not bad BUT go to Hunky Dory instead. Just a better vibe and bigger selection. Not sure on how prices compare.

Great friendly service, prices are a bit over priced but ill go back! I really liked being carded, i felt safe while i shopped and it was easy

Best smoke shop I’ve ever been in.
The staff is very personable, and very quick to assist. When I went in, I wasn’t sure what I wanted so I said I was just looking… but they didn’t give up there. They managed to give me enough space, but still help me with my decision.

best «smoke shop» in eugene. great staff. great selection. good deals on glass. apparently the cigarette prices are high, but you shouldn’t be smoking that crap anyways.

Midtowns gotta wide assortment of coooooool glass at very good prices (at least compared to SD or NY). Cigs could be a bit cheaper but i picked up somethin small for a friend at easily half what it costs in SD! Good thing because it didnt last the fool 24 hours before he broke it! Ive had pipes for years and still havent broke em! At least i know i can rely on the Midtown Direct to hit up next time for another ill piece. The female workin in there was incredibly nice and helpful as well. Ill be back here to grab another piece. Peace.

Best smoke shop in Eugene.
Their staff is absolutely wonderful. I can always expect smiling faces and great attitudes when I go in. Some of their glass is a bit pricey, but when you think of the work it takes for some of their $ 300+ pieces, it makes perfect sense. You aren’t going to spend a couple hundred bucks for a «water pipe» that will be communally used in a shared living space. They offer great deals on some of the more bland looking, knock-​around pieces that will be used day-​to-​day.
I need say no more. Cheapest American Spirits in town will keep me coming back, but the people will make me drive across town to do so.

This is the cheapest place in town to buy American Spirits. They also stock incense, a huge variety of smokes and accessories. My fave feature of their shop however, is the nice selection of flasks. Werd, they had one that was shaped like a skull… now let one of your friends try to lift that from your place!
Nice variety of pipe tobacco as well as hooka supplies.
