A little pricey but this is the cutest shop for not only a wide array of flowers but so many adorable gifts and trinkets! Reminds me of an Anthropologie with a flower shop in the back. I’ve been trying to find a maile lei to order for my brothers graduation and this was the only place that had a few leaves left — I don’t remember her name(I’m sorry!) but the girl that helped me so sweet and from Hawaii herself! She worked with me on the order and even recommended adding some yellow flowers — I love the final result and so does my brother! Mahalo!

wow. it’s really unfortunate the women below had such a bad experience with the floral dept at Passion Flower! i’d be upset too. that said~ i’ve been working with them for over 20 years and have always found the floral arranging to be awesome! always. i think you managed to get the one bad arrangement they put out almost never. you can’t beat them for creativity and price!

My brother and sister-in-law ordered flowers for my mother’s 94th birthday. They were delivered THEDAYAFTER her birthday, and the greenery was nearly dead and shedding all over the place. I was able to disassemble the arrangement and rescue many of the flowers, but it was a real shame to see an old woman saddened by such an ugly bouquet.

Whether you’re visiting Eugene, new to the area, or a longtime resident, I would recommend spending an hour or two in Passionflower. It’s a fascinating and soothing retail experience, and they’ve created a more pleasing and thoughtful aesthetic than other similar stores. My reasons for visiting include: — Pick up terrarium supplies(tiny colored pebbles, air plants, river rocks, teardrop glass) — Find a great card for a friend, from the artful selection in back — Smell a few candles — Look at succulents, many of which are unusual and hard-to-find, and attractively potted — Admire the clothing — omg, the jewelry! I want all of it — Find a metal pocket token etched with a thoughtful saying — Wander around sigh a lot. As in «ahhh, isn’t that lovely?» and«oooh, look at this!» — Discover at least one fantastic item I never could have imagined existed. — Gaze at the floral section in back — Fawn over the bins with interesting and fun things in them. Love this design element! — Walk upstairs, just to admire more clothes and look downstairs — Talk to the nice women working there. To a one, they are so warm & welcoming it’s almost out of place here. I don’t even spend that much and they treat me this way. Thank you. — Linger at the register and bath salts section on the way out. Wonder if I should stay longer. — Stave off the winter spring blues — Spend time downtown in a very pleasant way between appointments or transportation connections. There’s some free parking downtown now, though you should expect to find street parking or garages anywhere from .5 to 4 blocks away. Meters are not always available right there at Oak and Broadway, and that’s a busy intersection. Maybe they have a private lot I don’t know about? In my experience, walking to Passionflower is best. If it were busy, I’d be nervous about breaking things. i.e. Doesn’t feel crowded as long as there aren’t too many people there. I’ve been lucky on my weekday random trips to be one of a few customers. Love this place! It’s one of my Eugene favorites. Many thanks to the owners for creating it, and a friend for recommending it.

If you are as addicted to Pinterest as I am, you’ll love Passionflower Design– it’s laid out like a home décor/design blog wonderland! Everything you could possibly want/need to beautify your home– hand-cast candlestick holders, scented beeswax candles, beautifully rendered ceramic dishes etched with flora and fauna, Pendleton blankets, hanging glass terrariums– can be found here. It’s also a great place to get creative ideas and favors for wedding parties, graduations, births, and other commemorative events. And did I mention marvelous retail therapy for dreary days? Secret ProTip: Even just dropping by to window shop and bury your nose in a few scented soy candles can be an effective afternoon pick-me-up. ;) PD’s prices make shopping excursions a treat, but the quality of its products are A-C-E. If you need gifts that impress(and last), here is your one-stop shop. *Hugs sparkling glass terrarium*

The shop was able to work with me over the phone to design a beautiful and very unique arrangement that they delivered the same day. I really appreciate the personal touch and great service.

My sister and her long term boyfriend broke up this past week. I(being the awesome older sister that I am) wanted to send her flowers. I filled out the inquiry online. I was not specific in what I wanted in the arrangement. I said«something happy an soothing» and I proceeded to state the reason why I was sending them. They hand delivered a beautiful and very interesting arrangement to my baby sister. She sent me a picture and she said it made her smile so big. I love the variety of spring flowers that were in there, poppies, ranunculus, lilacs and daffodils. ANDTHEBESTPARTISTHATITWASLARGE! I didn’t feel ripped off like if I had just ordered them from like 1800flowers or something. Overall I highly recommend.

What a beautiful place! Lots of pretty displays — great selection of items! I got the little wallet I’ve spent the last year looking for! Yahoo! Plants, tablecloths, napkins, cookbooks, candles… When I need a great little gift — I’m coming here!

I am so disappointed. I live in the Portland area but am marrying down that way in September. After searching the Internet for a florist I really liked, I stumbled on Passionflower Design. I set up a consultation with Jamie who was so kind and helpful, and we set a tentative appointment that she said possibly wouldn’t work. Jewel wrote me back the next day to tell me the timing won’t work and if we could reschedule, and I said I understood as I had asked on short notice but that no other time this weekend would work and we would have to reschedule. Instead of sending back an understanding, «ok hope to see you soon,» or something of the sort I got back a rude passive aggressive email from her telling me she didn’t want to do the appointment but if she had to she would. It wasn’t just the statement it was her phrasing of it that was condescending. It was enough to let me know that I should keep on my search for a florist who knows understanding and kindness is key to growing a business.

What a gorgeous store! The layouts are beautifully presented and there’s lots of wonderful little treasures like the Edward Gorey version of Tarot cards.

Whenever I go in here I just wish I could take home gads of stuff and redecorate my whole home. Alas, my budget doesn’t allow it. I have bought the occasional small thing, and gift there. The staff has always been very friendly and tolerant of my window shopping.

After seeing the Unilocal rating, I walked in here and it didn’t really impress me like a florist. I was ready to try a new florist after multiple bad experiences with Dandelions(flowers don’t last very long). Even though they had no arrangements ready to take out and I had to wait a few days to get the arrangement, it was beautiful and after five days, it still looks great. Thanks!

Love this store! Thanks to my Unilocal friend Dawn C’s review, I knew of Passionflower in advance of a trip to Eugene and worked it into the schedule. What a wonderful find full of home treasures of all kinds and across all price points. I posted some photos to try to give a peek into the range of items for sale there, all so artfully merchandised that you want to «go slow» and see it all. But the photos can’t capture even a fraction of the wonders here. From table linens, to bed covers, to custom painted bell jars, to pottery and ceramics, to plants, to framed prints, to serving trays, to greeting cards, to candles, to floral displays, to… the list seems endless. If you are looking for it, they probably have it. They also have some things that you probably didn’t know you were looking for until you see them at Passionflower and think«There’s JUST the thing…» I note some find this store to be expensive, but I’d say their prices are fair and competitive with others who sell similar quality products. But I doubt there are many who can compare with the top notch displays created in the store. And as final note, I’ll say my experience was that service was top notch and friendly too.

Have been ordering flowers from Passionflower since a friend sent me an extraordinarily lovely arrangement from their shop when I was ill several years ago. My friends have raved about the arrangements I’ve ordered there and I’ve come to rely on Passionflower when it came to selecting the perfect flowers for a special recipient. My experience has always been positive until today when their poor customer service sent me searching for another florist. Early this month I called to order an arrangement for a hospitalized friend. Instead of the cheerful help I’ve been used to, I spent 10 minutes being«guided» to the same mundane mixes you can buy at Safeway. When it became clear that we weren’t getting anywhere, I moved on. Tried again today… dialed Passionflower and was surprised when they loudly answered«Is this Sweet Basil?» I kinda laughed and said, «No, I was actually calling Passionflower to order flowers» She brusquely announced that she WAS Passionflower and started asking me for my order info, then abruptly asked if she could call me right back. After an hour of tapping my foot, I decided to call another florist and placed my order with a designer who was extremely friendly and very helpful. Sorry Passionflower, Shamrock got my $ 100…hope you got your take out order from Sweet Basil… you lost a regular customer.

Aw shoot. I’m giving away all the secrets about the best spots in Eugene. Here’s the deal with Passion Flower. It’s fabulous! And, it can be as expensive as you want to make it. I have now made PF my go-to place for birthday gifts. For under $ 25 I have purchased gifts for everyone from preteen girls, to kinda old dudes. Gifts for friends, family, partners, work colleagues, as well as for me! Seriously, a swing through here on a downer kind of day can really pick you up. PF also does a great job with indoor plants and flower arrangements. I am proud to say that they decorated my wedding, and they did an absolutely impeccable job. Their attention to detail and easy-going spirit makes it effortless to buy/shop/stay local.

Holy Expensive! I really love most of the stuff in this store, but some items are just too over priced. I can respect that some of the items are handmade, homemade and done by very talented artists but $ 400 for something that’s only function is to look beautiful really is not something I am interested in buying right now in my life. With that being said– If I did have an obscene amount of cash that I could use to decorate my house with functionless beautiful items– Damn straight I would own EVERYTHING in that store.

PassionFlower is one of the nicest stores in Eugene. They have an amazing eye for color & design. Their flower arrangements are way beyond ordinary. You can be completely assured that anything you purchase here will be high quality and worth the money. While some may say it’s expensive, I would say that this is not wal-mart. The staff and owner take the time and effort to create a high quality experience, with artistry. If you are looking for inexpensive trinkets this is not the place to shop. If you want something out of the ordinary, with some thought behind it this is your place.
