Wow, Zach is super amazing. He came out for an energy audit and was courteous and patient with all of my questions. His knowledge and experience is incredible. I had him come back a few weeks later for weatherization and insulation work. He worked all day getting a ton of things done. He sealed every air leak in our attic, installed baffles for air flow, insulated our vent ducting, re-routed and insulated bathroom ducting, found a couple things that weren’t up to code which he fixed, and then blew in more insulation. The whole experience of working with Zach and Premium Efficiency was superb. Communication was quick and professional. Emails and phone calls were returned promptly. I was using an EWEB incentive program and Zach was great with the process; he knew exactly what they needed and was well versed in the process. It is clear that Zach is passionate about energy efficiency and takes great pride in his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants quality work from a solid local company.

Had owner, Zach, out to perform an energy test on furnace… nice guy. We knew our attic was lacking in proper insulation so we decided to have them install additional insulation in the attic of our 50-yr-old house. Not an easy job in this tri-level home. Zach and Rob worked hard and fast. We’ve checked out the attic and it appears they have done an excellent job. Would definitely refer them to others. We now look forward to cooler summers and warmer winters.

The crew at Premium Efficiency are top notch. They completely evaluated our home and found it to be leaking 710 cfm’s. 150 to 330 cfm’s is what is considered acceptable. The staff completed a comprehensive report and are working in partnership with Clean Energy Works of Oregon to fix all the problems. They have gone above what I ever expected. The workers are polite, professional and thorough. High on the

We are extremely pleased with the work done by Premium Efficiency. We live in a 2900 sf home that was renovated 8 years ago. Part of the original heating duct system was replaced at one end of the home and connected to the original duct system at the other end of the home. After going through our first winter, we were concerned that one end of the home(the refurbished end) was toasty warm, whereas the other end of the home was really cold and uncomfortable. After many years of just living with this, we decided to contact Premium Efficiency to see if they could figure out why we had such a heating/cooling differential in the home. This company had been recommended by someone in the construction industry. Zach, the owner of Premium Efficiency, came to our home to do an inspection and to work up a proposal. He spent at least 2 hours on his initial visit, sealing off all of the vents and conducting a test of the house leakage. His test revealed a large leakage of air in the TV room, whereupon he discovered a hidden hole in the ceiling(where an old air intake grate had once been) that was causing warm air to flow out of the room and into the attic. Zach also crawled underneath the home and with pictures taken on his iPad, showed us how the insulation was falling down from the floor and how the heating duct system was all curvy which resulted in less efficiency in carrying the heat from one side of the home to the other. He also conducted a duct leakage test. Zach also included information in his proposal about the EWEB incentive program, which would partially compensate us for the work done because of the energy savings that would result. Our project was a large one, so it took 7 days. The crew that was brought in was professional and courteous. At the end of the project, Zach came back to conduct another round of leakage testing(house and duct) and to ensure that all of the work done under the house met his high standards. His leakage testing showed dramatic improvement. He took before & after photos of the work done under the house. In Zach’s final billing, he reduced the cost of his bid to account for the fact that slightly less insulation work was done than originally proposed because a small area under the house was determined to be inaccessible. All in all, Zach is honest, trustworthy and hardworking. He was also responsive to our requests in a timely manner. We would definitely use him again. In fact, he encouraged us to call him if, during the winter, we felt that we needed additional tweaking to the heating vents to ensure a more even flow of heat.

I can not find enough words to tell you how incredible these guys are. Zach Erdman runs a great company and they did a huge repair to our house. He is attentive, knowledgable, and a very hard worker. He found construction problems beyond the scope of his duct and insulation bid and attended to every single detail without missing a beat. His team does solid work and they are polite and professional.

Premium Efficiency Inc, just completed work on my home(built in the 1950’s) They were courteous, professional and incredibly thorough. They walked me through the process of the test of air flow in the home and tightness of the vents and duct work. After the initial exam, they got right to work on fixing ducts that were leaking and detached somehow. Casey started on the project with Zach overseeing the work and letting me know what else I could do to make our home more energy efficient. He also replaced our lightbulbs with more energy efficient ones and our shower head too. Am so happy with the work and can already tell that our home is warmer!
