Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services

Their prices are incredibly high. Especially if you call after quote business hours. I’ve called to get a quote before for service, and they have an answering service. Then I have to wait for an actual tech to call me back, forcing me to give them my phone number.
After I’ve given them my number and finally gotten my quote, I’ve graciously stated that I would call back in the morning during normal business hours for service (the don’t call me, I’ll call you out) and instead, they’ve called me. Multiple times. They called me 7 times that following day, leaving voicemails that just got nastier and more hostile as they went. The person (I presume a dispatcher) leaving the messages should have used a small amount of common sense (clearly not too common in this company) and came to the conclusion that when someone doesn’t answer, they clearly don’t want your services. Nope, she just continued to stalker call me through the day, leaving cranky messages every single time. Even after I blocked her number, forcing it to automatically go to voicemail every time. Take the hint yet? Nope, she just called me from a different number!
I finally had to turn my phone off for a couple of hours until normal business hours were over to keep her from calling me. I already had service on the way from a much cheaper and more reliable company, and she kept calling while they were there and after I had gone to sleep. It was not only annoying, but disruptive to my day.
This is not a company that I would ever call again, even for a quote. I can’t imagine that they would be that desperate for business that they need to stalker call someone repeatedly through the day just to get some business. If that is the case, it’s pathetic and looks bad for the business because they just look desperate.

2^nd time we met Chris from Roto Rooter. We are new in Springfield spent 33 yrs farming in Lebanon and every time we needed to clean out our septic tank we used Roto-​Rooter. They did a good job then and now. Living in town with water and garbage, and sewer is a first for us. We are glad to have our old friends Roto-​Rooter to call on.
Living in a town is sure a different experience. We have been married 46 yrs. And have always been country people. This is our first time to pay water and sewer! Hope all goes well for our sewer now or may have to ask about digging a well and putting in a septic system. (yeah, I know ain’t gonna happen!)

A Review for a plumber? YEP, they did good and deserve kudos, If the water stops, call them and they will fit it.

Thank you for your quick response to my sewer line breaking down. Before I knew it the city was there spraying colors for electric and water, gas and so on. The next day you were there and, BAM, within 3 hours you were done and everything worked and still works great. Very kind and professional people.
