South fork coffee company sells water and coffee, both equally as bad. I actually just remembered that I wanted to write a review when I flushed the toilet at my Eugene home because that’s what they sell, Eugene tap water. How people are dumb enough to pay for this when it’s just municipal city water I will never know. We did at my office until we found out what it was we were drinking and we got rid of it quick. Don’t make the same mistake we did! Also, the coffee is so weak I swear it is colored water. We would have to use 3 or 4 packets to even make it strong enough to taste like coffee. Our new vendor has better water and better coffee. What a joke of a company!

I have used them in all of my three businesses. I love them, good coffee, great service and when something goes wrong, they just plan take care of you, over the top. I use their equipment, water and coffee.

I manage our coffee and beverage program at work, so I deal with Southfork a lot. A couple of their reps look like old salty bastards but, if they have any problems they are quick to fix them. And they are a lot friendlier that they look. They plumbed in our machines and gave us airpots for our coffee. They also come out and maintain their equipment as well as giving fairly good pricing on not just coffee but almost al beverage related items(teas, cups, stirs, etc). This is a program that runs itself and they deliver for free. Now for their coffee. They have a bunch of different varieties of coffee that can be ordered for their program. The client chooses the coffee or coffees that they will provide, and they can change them at any time. They make their own but they also carry all the other top brands. Which means that theh have a lot more variety than Allan Bros or even Costco. Our company evaluated their Sumatran, Mackenzie, French Pete, Italiano, Seattle’s Best, and Columbian Supreme. The Sumatran was heavy and acidic for the general palate around here, and the Italiano was really strong, so we settled on the Columbian Supreme, Seattle’s Best, and Folgers as a standby. Both are fairly mild and the combination suited all our employees. But not to mention that they did our evaluation for free to help us get comfortable with their products. Prompt service and humorous sales reps makes for easy dealings with this company.

I’ve never been to big of a coffee drinker, so if you’re like me, this coffee will encourage your caffeine abstinence. At my place of employment, this is the coffee they choose. It’s pretty tough coffee. If I reuse my same cup just twice, I can see the acid eating through the paper cup. That scares the shit outta me! Considering I take prilosec daily for my stomach, I can pretty much eat what I want without heartburn or discomfort. After 3 months of drinking this coffee, it’s been kicking my stomach’s ass. Two cups and I am feeling heartburn within minutes. I’ve heard that Allan Bros coffee is a bit more gentle on the stomach and a bit more pleasant to the taste buds. This I’m not sure, but I am done drinking the South Fork… that IS for sure.
