Portland, OR
Since Phoenix took over the District the place has really improved. The parking lot is lit, the speakers are bumpin, and the place is well staffed. There are some crazy light shows in there every other week or so, and they know what is going on in Eugene. If something is happening in town, the district has a night for it. Excellent drink prices and the only real dance club in town. The bouncers are aggressive — but what do you expect from a nightclub that stays open late.

Okay lighting and sound, but the service and bartenders get two thumbs down. If you have a choice, pass.

Mercer Island, WA
Pretty much the only legit dance club in Eugene. Most of the UO students go there to dance and get fabulous drink specials. Great theme parties and progressive drink nights.
DJ Phoenix and Scoot are awesome and know how to get everyone dance. New VIP stage which is fun.
Had a lot of underage students in the club, but new bouncers have kicked them out.
I recommend making a night out of the District! $ 2 wells, $ 1 beers… just fabulous
