I decided on this service because it was only $ 2.00 a mile instead of $ 2.25, and called the night before to make a reservation to go to the train station. They DID NOT COME, or call. I called another company after VIP was 10 minutes late, and they were there in 2 minutes and didn’t charge me on the way back when I missed my train. And it was an extra $ 26 to reschedule my ticket. So much for saving money.
I think they must be hopelessly understaffed, because when I called to ask where he was when he was late, the message machine said, «If you’re calling about the cab driver position…» yikes. He never picked up, or called me back. I didn’t feel like a VIP. I was forgotten.

I have used Oregon taxi/VIP for years and have had good experiences until tonight. This is not the fault of any driver, who have in fact been the best part of the experience each time. Tonight however I called a half hour early to reserve a cab, when the cab did not show up, I called back only to hear that the cab did not have a reservation for me. The operator remembered speaking to me but did nothing to honor that, instead he hung up on me without apology.
We got a ride from Executive Taxi, and even though they do not take debit/credit cards they are far more superior in their customer service.
Let me just state again that this has nothing to do with their individual drivers.

Great service, I use them at least twice a month to the airport. Clean rigs and well dressed drivers.
