Euless Transmission and Complete Auto Service

Euless Transmission was recommended to us by a friend and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received!
The dealership we typically go to couldn’t even look at our Commander until 3 weeks later so we made an appointment with Jimmy at Euless Transmission. He got our Jeep in the same day, called with the details that night, haggled with the warranty company, gave us a quote first thing in the morning, and we were able to pick it up that night.
He is honest, hard working, and gave us two quotes: one for the work we requested and one for other things that need to be done. He doesn’t do any work until it’s approved by the vehicle’s owner.

Awesome and AFFORDABLE service. Jimmy (head mechanic?) was a badass dude. I called around to probably a dozen shops for quotes on a repair. Other shops were trying to «take me to the cleaners» when Jimmy was down to earth and straight forward with me, said the labor is said to be a lot more than what he could actually do it in. When I got there, he said let me get you set up with a ride back home, and we can get you picked up when it’s ready, not knowing i had my girlfriend follow me up there. Awesome right? I called back later to see how it was coming along as they were closing, he asks, «do you have FaceTime?». He FaceTime’d (video chatted) with me and ran me through and showed me what all was wrong with my car via video chat. If that’s not going above and beyond, then idk what is. All in all, did work for half the price in half the time and was a super nice dude! Will definitely recommend!

Tl;dr: Superb service at a totally reasonable price offered by down-​to-​earth people.
Longer review: I had recently gone in to the oil change shop down the street from where I work to have my car’s AC serviced/​looked at since it was no longer blowing cold air. Since they weren’t equipped to repair it (they thought it might have been a pressure switch or expansion valve), the young man there (Darren) referred me to Jr.‘s Euless Transmission, since his mother (April) ran the office and his uncle (Jimmy) was either part-​owner or the main technician there (can’t recall).
I called ahead, talked to April, and dropped my car off on a Thursday morning, planning to use Über/​Lyft to get back to my office. To my surprise, she offered to ride with me in my car back to my office so that she could just drive my car back to the shop. Fast forward to a few hours later, and when I called to check on its status, she was like ‘Oh, yeah, it was just a couple of relays so we’ve already ordered the parts and expect to have them shortly, after which we’ll get them put in and then I can just drop your car off back at your office for you. Your total will be $ 108.07.‘
I was taken aback for several reasons. First and foremost I’ve never experienced service like that from a repair shop. It’s one thing to turn around a car and have it repaired within a day, but to do so (along with an AC check) for an extremely reasonable price, with only a half hour’s labor, *and* to offer me a ride back to my office as well as dropping my car back off for me? That’s awesome.
Kudos to April and Jimmy for running what I feel is a great business with honest folk there who don’t mess around and get stuff done. I’ll come back and tell anyone who’s in need of a mechanic to look no further. I’m cross-​posting this review on Google and Yellowpages too.

It’s actually JR’s Euless Transmission Complete Auto Service.
After having issues with being overcharged by the big franchises (City Garage and Christian Brothers, I finally found a local repair shop that is friendly, fast, and inexpensive. I was quoted $ 1200 for a total AC replacement at Christian Brothers, but Euless Transmission did it for only $ 515 with a one year warranty.
They discovered that i needed front brake work and new rotors, which I did not mind paying because I had saved so much on the AC.
They have three shop dogs that always want attention and keep you entertained while you wait.
The staff are regular people who care about what they do and they don’t have the overhead of the big boys. I will gladly return.
I’m glad I’ve found a reliable car repair shop near me!
