One star only because Unilocal doesn’t allow me to give 0 stars.
The salesman I had the displeasure of meeting was disrespectful, dismissive, and didn’t listen to what I wanted. I wanted to purchase a mid-​price-​range laptop with Windows 7, and he proceeded to lecture me that 8 was better, that I should just go ahead and spend the extra $ 100 to purchase the better laptop, and also advised me with the following sage words of advice: «I hope you’re not one of those people who installs free antivirus protection, ;cause that’s 90% of what I have to fix.» Apparently he’s a level three repair technician or something, I don’t know of what, because he was talking out of school. I couldn’t get rid of him as he kept talking to me
He made me never want to walk into another TigerDirect again! This was my first and last time at this place.

I had no problem getting help here like some others have, but it was also a slow night when I went in. Since most other electronics stores are useless these days this place was good to find. Granted, it is probably more for computer geeks, gamers or those that already know their way around electronics and know what they’re looking for. In my case I wanted a specific tablet that no one else around seemed to have. They had the displays, but not in stock. This store had four. They also had a much larger selection of PCs, monitors, etc. than anywhere else without having to drive to the well known large electronics retailer that isn’t as easy to navigate. The prices seemed lower than some and it’s a no frills store… more like a warehouse. This is not a boutique store, so if you’re looking for that there is a store with a popular fruit name just waiting for you to visit.

The only reasons I give 3 instead of two stars, is the options and organization of products… Not enough smart people working

They sold me an open box laptop and I returned within 6 hours it because it was a horrible computer. Then they charged me a 15% return fee for it being opened. It was opened by their employee before I purchased it. And to add insult the shift manager Neal was arguing the return policy was not as it was written it was «implied» and was not what was written on their corporate return policy. They stole my 15% and I do NOT recommend them to ANYONE.

Least helpful group of people I’ve ever encountered in retail. Walked around 10 min looking for what I went for and not one associate asked if I needed help. Checkout lane had 5 people in it and one person checking out while 4 others stood in a huddle off to the side cutting up. Finally one sent me to another register only to be told at that register I needed to go back to the other line because they weren’t a «check out» register only for the service area. Spend a little more and pay for the service or they need to discount their stuff more to compensate for the lack of help provided

Very nice people… called to see if they had an item in store and looked up and down to find it before saying yes or no… luckily they found it and held it for me even when I told them i didnt live in the area and would be a couple hours. overall a great experience. I will go back not only for the products but for the helpful people. Thanks TD!

I had a bad experience trying to get the HP Officejet Pro 8100 to work. Took it back, no questions asked and got it replaced.
I ding them a star for saying they had the ink cartridges I needed in stock when no one on staff could find them. :\
Prices are good though!

I went in today to get an hdmi cable I had seen online. Their website said it was available in store and it was. It was even the same price too. I like that! Nobody was hounding me while I looked around. I was worried because of other persons review. Got to say I was very happy with my visit and was surprised at the tons of electronics available. I am sure I will visit again sometime.
