Bennys is a great little diner in a small Kansas town. My family and I had lunch there. Great pub/bar style food. The Ruben lunch plate was excellent as was the homemade mac and cheese. Service and dining atmosphere are both casual and great.

Great food. Good options on kid meals. Everything we had was excellent, served hot, and was high quality. We were glad we had an option to eat that wasn’t a chain. Word to the wise, just pick a spot to sit when you get in there. No signs, but after standing around in the front room and no one telling us what to do I finally asked the bartender what our plan was. The tables are separated into 2 eating areas with very different atmospheres. We were there at a busy lunch rush and one poor waitress had the entire place to serve.

Think it’s an old gas station but so what? Nice bar, nice enough atmosphere, and my chicken fried steak meal could have been home-cooked. Really decent place for such a small town. I drove 30 minutes to get here and I’d do it again.
