Really small art gallery with focus on sales. Paintings are sold for over 1800. One thing worth mentioning is the schoolhouse tucked in the corner underneath a staircase.

Great little contemporary art gallery. Run by the Humboldt Arts Council. Monthly exhibits showcase local and regional artists. Fabulous shows. The Morris Graves Is a thoughtfully remodeled Carnegie Library. Still has the beautiful rotunda. Nice place for families.

The building is phenomenal and the artwork was a well-rounded presentation of local styles and artists. I expected to see more art from Morris Graves himself. The museum holds many pieces in its permanent collection, but were not presented at the time I visited.

Gorgeous and obscure, little museum with a rotunda for entertaining and four adjacent art galleries in each vestibule. It’s named for Morris Graves, an obscure abstract expressionist and founder of the«Northwest School.»(I’d never heard of him; my sister told me who he was). My sister’s 50th here rocked. Best part of the venue: the wood work. You can see it in my photos.

I go here for the architecture, not the art, although the art is local and fabulous… I just LOVE the building. It was a the Carnegie Library back in the day and lots of love and restoration went into it and in 2000 it opened. How LUCKY for the locals. Something cultural!
