Super local market that is a mini whole foods! They have all the local products i.e. The co-op and everything is super fresh. Small but adequate deli and the butcher looked great! Their produce section is very fresh and beautifully arranged. I would definitely shop here again!

the CASHIERS are ANd have allwasy been SONICEBUT The Customer service in the Vitamin health Isle was ATROCIOUS today. I HAVEGONEHERE4 YEARs and Years Yea i asked for a Deep body cleanse. the girl looked at me with disgust, and said we dont sell those here, sorry as she started to Rush away. i said ive gotten them here before. i just cant recall what it was called. she replied,” cant help u.” and hurried away. I will no longer buy my apples or any other produce there Not A single one of my dollars. she was Snootty and rude .i felt Shamed by her. NO customer service. WHat happened Co-OP? u used to be so friendly and helpful? I will now switch my weekly organic shopping to Eureka natural foods. PLUS the lady at eureka natural foods, knew exactly what i wanted and sold me a 35 $ bottle of strip no problem no attitude and with a smile.

Some of the best service I have had! Molly was great when helping me decide the prefect smoothie.

Though I’m a die hard fan of Eureka Natural Foods, I must say they have a superior soup section. Also they have pretty decent sushi for a grocery store.

The co op always has delicious soups they make each day. Some of their prices are lower then eureka natural foods but not always. The sushi bar is amazing!!! The overall layout of the store doesn’t work for me.

Both Co Ops are losing their luster. They are feeling like big box grocery stores. I am going to Eureka Natural Foods or Wildberrys. Very sad… Ive been shopping at both stores for years. Another customer lost.

The store is very large and modern with a huge selection of just about everything one could want in a grocery store. They make a special effort to use locally sourced products, and that includes Oregon. It is not a worker-owned co-operative but a community members co-operative.

The first time I went there I saw that Jalapeños were 5.48 A POUND! That is insane. The most I have ever paid is a dollar a pound. This place was outrageously priced and the produce was not even that fresh.

Getting a nice sandwich has become more challenging. They have not raise the price but decrease the size. I feel taken for granted. I will look somewhere else.

We shop here almost every time we go through Eureka(about 4 – 5 times/year), but only for the products. Most of the staff are useless. They turn around when they see us coming and we are pretty average looking people! Some of the checkers are friendly, but to most it is just a job. We have belonged to our local food COOP since its founding in 1973. Ours is not as big, but if the help is not friendly to the customer(the reason for the store!), they go down the road.

They have good selection and I go here because they have what I want in terms of natural skin/body care and cosmetics. Their customer service is abysmal though. If I am walking around the store, none of the employees will acknowledge me or ask if I need any help finding anything. Actually, they don’t need to ask if I need help… all I want is a pleasant smile! The cold deli counter is even worse. They are rude, unpleasant, unhelpful. This is why I order my stuff online instead of shopping locally. At least online no one is rude to me!

I go here when I am looking for natural products I can’t find elsewhere. You have to be careful about what you buy. Some things are decently priced, but other products are downright outrageously priced. The produce section and plants and starts are great. But the reason why I do not go here regularly is the cashiers. I understand that they want everyone to be members, but when I say I am not a member, their attitude completely changes to where they are almost rude.

I don’t care about anything else right now… this chicken-sausage breakfast burrito(ready made and to-go) is possibly the most savory, well seasoned and perfect thing I have ever put in my mouth. My co-workers find the noise I made when I bit into it both hilarious and slightly inappropriate.

Went in the co-op this morning to get a breakfast here instead of McDonald’s. Wow, they got the selection for a breakfast. I highly recommend it and also Vincent the register guy was super friendly and helpful. He even came out in the parking lot to make sure that I received my cashback when I used my ATM card, that’s service! Oh yeah, the place sparkling clean!

Lots of Local, Organic products both fresh and preserved to choose from. Casual, friendly, and you don’t need to be a member. The best fresh and sustainable made sushi as far as grocery sushi goes, just as good as any restaurant in town. Try Becks Bread, find a local beer and wine, grab some local chocolate…

We recently moved to the area and became members of the co-op. We love the to-go food and the amazing gluten free options. I recently went into the co-op and I when I approached the register I placed the basket on the conveyor, the cashier continued her conversation with the other employee glancing at me occasionally. After a few moments of standing there, waiting to be attended to, she told me that I needed to empty my basket; she would then help me after I emptied the contents of this basket onto the conveyor belt. I paid $ 45 dollars for a bag of food and was treated poorly. I had someone who was working in the isles that after asking where the eggs were approached me, asking why it is that patrons have such a hard time finding things, insinuating that we should just know based on consumer numbers. I hope that they will amend their customer service to something more welcoming and consistent with other grocers and co-ops.

Probably the best produce section in the county… Meat section is terrible. Not because of the selection, but because of the staff and prices. Short little dude with the Giants hat, real jerk… other dude with the beard, total jerk. Went there the other day, Fresh local Crab, $ 7.99/lb. Eureka Natural foods, $ 5.98/lb…pay more, and you get a crappy attitude! No thanks. Deli also is a staffed with weirdos, but not jerks like the meat department. Good selection of beers, priced right. All other departments are well stocked with quality products. High prices… but it is quality food. Cashiers are generally very nice. worst part is the homeless smoking and stinking out front.

Great Co-op in Eureka. My husband and I love to stock-up on great products that North Coast carries. We were quite delighted to see our favorite products on the shelves, and an A+ selection of veggies and fruits. Good prices. Friendly staff.

I am a member here and I have really come to love this place. Im docking a star because its quite pricey but everything else is tip top! The employees are amazing! They go above and beyond. They remember your name and take time to get to know you! Quality of food is awesome and the selection is great! Wonderful produce section and great bulk section to boot! You can find some great buys! Humboldt Creamery Organic milk is always on sale foe $ 2.89 a half gallon which i think is a steal! Meat counter is pretty good and for the most part well stocked. Sometimes they run out of boneless Chicken breast for a few days to a week. Deli counter has a great selection of goodies! The deitz and watson Roast beef is sooo good, bloody and rare and just amazing! They make great twice baked potatoes and tuna salad! The deli counter attendents are my favorite of all the employees! Anyways love you Co Op! See you in the morning for oatmeal and a kambucha! Its a date!

This was exactly what I thought it’d be. It was expensive, but well worth it for the kinda things they were selling. You can always tell when a place will be expensive when the shelves are black, I think. That seems to be a marker these days. :P Organic, natural, non-GMO(not that I care), and other«hippie» monikers are thrown about the store on various products. A good bit of local produce was being sold here when we went(though it’s cheaper down the road at the Arcata Farmer’s Market — so Saturday isn’t the day to shop here). All-in-all, a good experience.
