The best gyros and home made sauce I have found outside the Chicago-land area. The fries are perfect but the portion could be larger.

The chicken gyro was great with plenty of chicken on it. Wife ordered the same and liked it also. Elijah waited on was a very nice guy. Gave us a free pop for being a first timer. We will be back.

Great customer service! The owner and his wife were the only employees working when we went and that was fine. He was extremely kind and helpful. The food was quite good. Definitely would recommend this place and would go back.

Don’t expect frills, but expect a gyro, chicken or traditional full of flavor and size. The meats are amazingly very tasty and the tzatziki is simply refreshing. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Elijah is a very nice man and pleasant to speak with. Defiantly a come back place in the future.

This was awesome Greek food. The gyro platter had more delicious meat than I could eat. Amazingly yummy hummous and salad with excellent greek sauce. The pita were warm and fresh and the presentation of everything was beautiful. The baklava was tasty as well. The service was warm and friendly. It may not be beautiful inside but the food and the service will more than make up for it. Don’t hesitaye tp go here.

I was in Eustis when I spotted this place. The owner is a man named Elijah Abraham, and he came from Lebanon 35 years ago. He is one of the most genuine, kind, and likeable souls I have had the pleasure of meeting. I know all this because when he came to my table to see if everything was ok, we started talking and wound up having a lovely conversation. I ordered the Gyro platter and it was delicious. Before leaving, I ordered a falafel sandwich to bring home to my wife. He bought me a falafel to taste while he was making my wifes sandwich, and it was delicious. I can’t wait to go back for some more. Truly a unique place with a great owner and delicious mediterranean food.

I recently started working in Eustis and was looking for a good place to eat lunch. A quick Google search and Elijah’s caught my eye. My girlfriend and I ate lunch there and were extremely pleased! The owner is a delightful gentleman and the food is fantastic! Do yourself a favor, give this place a try. Support local families.

Went to Elijah’s with 2 friends and will definitely go again! To gyro Pitas and a kafta kebab platter. None of us could finish because the portions were so generous! Definitely worth the trip from Maitland. The man at the counter(I believe the owner) checked on us quite a few times, and he also spoke a little hebrew. Felt like home!

Friendly service from the apparent owner, hot, fresh and tasty food. I’ll be back. Don’t let the downtrodden strip mall scare you off. It’s worth a stop.

I had been craving a really good Greek meal for a while and decided to take a chance on this place. One of the things I miss as a result of moving to bfe Lake County, FL is *really* tasty, authentic, homey, food… that isn’t southern. This place is most definitely the best Greek food I’ve found here thus far. The seasoning on the meat and the hummus took it over the top for me. Beyond happy to have happened across it.

Elijah’s Café is one of those gems hidden in a strip mall. The owner serves you himself, and is very sweet. There are not many places in this area where you can get good gyros, so we thought we’d give this one a try after reading the good reviews. As people have said, you definitely don’t go for the décor, but the gyros make you forget everything else around you. Yummy — would definitely recommend. :)

Only 4 stars because of price. I can’t forget that when I lived in Manhattan I got the best felafel I ever had every day for $ 1.75. Yes it’s a great restaurant — if you are not a cheap bastard like myself you will probably give it 5 stars! Also very friendly staff.

This is how all small restaurants should be. The gyros are great. The fries are good too. The humus is the best I have ever had. Every other item we have ordered from the wide menu has been excellent too. The owner is super polite and waits on the tables. It’s a small little place, but if you know anything about food, these are often the treasures.

I’ve been looking for a place that has good(or I’d of even settled for decent) gyros and falafel anywhere near South/Central Lake County, and Elijah’s Café doesn’t disappoint — it was well worth the long drive to try it. The menu is quite extensive — next time I’ll have to try the stuffed grape leaves as I haven’t had those in ages. I had the falafel plate which came with hummus, a salad, and pita bread. The wife had the gyro and we both shared and loved it all. We then finished it off with some baklava which was very good — light and flaky but not dry. Like everyone else says — friendly service, great food, and exactly what you wouldn’t expect to find next to a TSC(Tractor Supply Company) store.
