Takis Pizza House

When I need a quick lunch — girls are at school and I just want to be lazy and grab something order out *I’m not a huge fan of fast food*, this is one of my usual to go places.
I’m usually torn between getting a Gyro Plate or Greek Salad.
Greek Salad — a ton of cheese, meat *I ask them to hold the onion, my choice” and it is delicious. I can eat the Greek salad for lunch still have plenty left over for the kids to enjoy at dinner *When ordering the large– it is a TON of delicious sad*
Then comes the dilemma.
I’m also a huge fan of their Gyro Plates. You get a greek salad in your meal PLUS a general helping of meat PLUS you get cheese pita bread. It is a good combination that makes for a scrumptious meal. Usually don’t finish it, its too much for me but taste so good!
Staff are friendly. I’m not one to usually sit down in there *on the go hurry at lunch* but when I use to, I couldn’t fault them on anything. Food was hot, servers were friendly and it was a relaxing time for me.

I always get the Greek salad when I come here. It tastes really fresh and I’m never disappointed. There is a lot of ham and feta on it, which is great because I’ve been to other places where it seems like there’s a bunch of lettuce with barely any toppings. I never really order anything else, so I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but the salad won’t disappoint.

Just ok pizzas. The address listed was not correct and had to drive around looking it. Maybe it was a message from Unilocal to go get the pizzas from another location.

Always a great meal by a great family owmed LOCAL business. Never had a bad meal here in dozens of visits. Look forward ti returninh many more times!

I enjoyed the meatballs on my spaghetti but that was about it. Dish was dry. Garlic bread was bland and Greek salad had an unripe tomato slice and no dressing on it. Truly disappointing dinner.

This place is awesome. Great food, great service, great place. Chicken Alfredo is wonderful and the Tiramisu is a great way to top off the meal.

Takis was great! The server was fast, lovely and very attentive (Allyson was her name) We were greeted by a very friendly hostess that paid close attention to our needs all evening. The place was very busy but the staff made sure we were fed on time and never without a beverage. Food was hot and delicious, definitely recommend the eggplant parmesan. Good neighborhood spot.

I did a take out from this place one time and I was really disappointed the food portion was very large I was surprised but I was disappointed in the standards… I thought the food… the pasta was overcooked the sauce was overseasoned and yet bland when it came to salt and it just wasn’t a good experience for me.
I will not return

Having been to the old location once in the past we figured we’d give them a shot at their new place. First off the place was smokey like they’d recently had a grease fire. They did prop the door open for about 5 minutes, but it was still nasty. The small Greek salad is way over priced at $ 6.50 for a small. All it was was prepackaged shredded lettuce, a small amount of mystery meat, 2 olives, some tomato, and feta. We had to put the oil and vinegar on ourselves. The calamari was cheap frozen semi-​fishy tasting. The fried zucchini was poor. Probably also from a cheap frozen food vendor. Even sysco would have blown this stuff away! The garlic bread consisted of one sub roll with tasteless garlic butter and some cheese. BEWARE they charge $ 2.69 for soda! Are you serious? We had iced tea that had to of cost at least a nickel to make. We will never go back! Btw the owner was there and didn’t seem to mind the greasy smell. Hohum.

Their white pizza is the best in Lake County. As for best waiter, ask for Kevin. Exceptional service.

Gyros and salads are good.
The resturant is a dump!!! Very out dated and dirty!

The décor is a bit… old and dirty. The pizza is run of the mill, nothing special.
