I ate here twice during our one-week stay at Ft. Drum area. It doesn’t look too much from outside, and interior decoration is very modern and not typical of sushi joint. For lunch, I had a bowl of tempura udon. It wasn’t too good – the broth was very weak and lacked flavor in my opinion. Second time was for dinner, I ate a roll of sushi(though I’m not a great fan of rolled sushi), it was very good. I guess I should’ve stuck to what the store name suggests. It’s a sushi place after all.

My husband and I have eaten here for the past two years and have enjoyed their food. However, our credit card number has been stolen twice since January and both times it has occurred only a couple of days after eating at this restaurant. I hate to point fingers but this particular credit card has only been used at this restaurant. We have another card that we use for everything else, but they do not accept it. Its more than a bit fishy and our credit card company is currently investigating, We will no longer be eating here, but I suggest anyone that does pay with cash only.

Quality is consistent and food is always freshly prepared. I love their sushi and several Asian cuisines — Mongolian chicken is my favorite. Both the fried and cheesy Gyoza are very good, too. I frequent this place about once a month and would recommend it to a friend. Don’t be deceived by the small parking lot and bleak exterior!

I really wanted sushi so we came here but I had low expectations because the parking lot is always empty. But do not let that deter you. It was very clean inside. The staff was friendly and quick. We ordered the sushi and Orange chicken. It was wonderful! Everything we ordered was fresh and the flavor really stood out. I can’t wait to come back!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Avoid this Ruyi location and go to the Watertown one if you really want Asian food. They do a poor job at making hibachi and their service staff is MUCHWORSE than the Watertown location. The hibachi steak was over cooked and the rice was less than what is normally given at the Watertown location. The watertown Arsenal Ruyi gives you MORE food. It is also cleaner and less dingy than this Evans Mills location. We ordered lunch specials(at 11:45am) and they charged us dinner(even though we specifically asked for lunch and pointed to the lunch side of the menu). Additionally, Kiko, the waitress was rude and did not take care of our table and rolled her eyes when we had more party members arrive. She refused to make our order correct, and told us we were wrong. Don’t go to this location, it’s dirty and the service staff are stingy and will try to cheat you and nickel and dime you on every little detail.

A very exquisite establishment! The exterior presents a boring impression to those who pass by. However; it’s the INSIDE that counts. From the service to the serenity of the atmosphere, everything was great! The restaurant also does take-out as well. I viewed their menu and was pleased with the selections that were laid out before me. A bit indecisive(as always when I see an array of things I like); I ordered the Tiger Roll. They also had The Spider Roll as well but didn’t want too much. The Tiger Roll was magical! You have the flavor of the shrimp, the rich texture of avocado meshed with the awesomeness of sushi rice and crab. THEN to top it off all off, there was this delicious sauce drizzled on top. I believe it was mango? This was definitely a twist compared to other Tiger Rolls I’ve encountered in the past. Nonetheless, it was FRESH&FANTASTIC! If your in the area and looking for grade A Sushi as well as Hibachi; then don’t ignore this golden nugget. «Tiger Style»

I eat here at least once per visit to Watertown(3 to 4 times a year.) I always get it to go. The food is always tasty, and the portions generous. The service is quick too. They take credit cards but only Visa and probably MasterCard. No Discover and no AmEx(my cards of choice because of the reward points I have associated with them.). Often I get Sizzling HomemadeTofu, but this time I got Hibachi Chicken. It was very good.

I eat here almost every weekend. Simply delicious! I strongly recommend the miso soup and the California rolls. A bit expensive, but, totally worth it.

Beautiful interior, staff was friendly and attentive. The sushi was very good, I’m sort of a sushi snob, but I really enjoyed it. I don’t know if it’s normal for the area(cause we just moved here) but pretty pricey. Lunch for 4(2 of which were kids eating off the kid menu) was still almost 80 $. Would def go back but just the husband and I.

The food was nothing special and was extremely expensive. I had hoped everything would be great because of the reviews, but I guess people who like sushi are the only ones who like this place. I tried sushi for the first time when ordering from this restaurant and its definitely not for me but it may be good to others who enjoy sushi. The staff was rude and inattentive.

Delicious fresh sushi! It’s gorgeous inside too. Very nice place for date night. The boba teas are good. Last time was REALLY sweet but has been perfect before. The fried gyoza melts in your mouth. I’m getting hungry typing this review. :]

This is an excellent sushi restaurant and we stop here everytime we pass through Watertown. Have eaten sushi in many big cities and this places rivals them all!

The restaurant has a nice ambiance and customer service but it doesn’t change the fact the food is not edible. My husband and I ordered Pad Thai and sushi, the pad Thai and sushi we’re served in a very nice presentation but the Pad Thai had a grotesque smell, the noodles were so over seasoned and were dipped in a brown sauce(which I never seen) we couldn’t even take more two bites. Sushi was too salty. Was so hopeful for this restaurant.

I have tried this place before and it was horrible. We waited to be seated and we were only customers. They gave us lunch menu but charged us dinner prices. The rolls fell apart as soon as you grab it with chopsticks. The staff just stared at us. The food made us both sick to our stomachs. I wouldn’t recommend.

Very good sushi, i have had the California roll, crawfish roll, Philadelphia roll, and the spring roll, and over all i think the food is pretty good. It doesn’t taste fishy like other places that i have been to. They also have good customer service, me and a friend went there and ordered the wrong thing and didn’t realize it til it was at the table, she then told them that it wasn’t what she wanted, they then help her by giving her the thing she meant to order without charging her for the other. Overall very good.

Very good. High quality fish. Very well put together. Fresh fish. The«Chinese» options are very good as well. The hibachi is outstanding. Don’t get sushi to-go though. They will give you the lower quality cuts of fish if you don’t eat in. If it weren’t for that; 5 stars.

The best of the 3 Watertown Sushi places. I think they are all owned by the same guy as they have similar menus, but this one is the best location. I go way too frequently for lunch. It is the closest place to post. Get the seafood chowder and full of love roll! This place is never crowded unlike the Mongolian sushi place on arsenal!

This was by far, hands down, one of my worst restaurant experiences to date. When we 1st sat down there were 4 other tables with people at them, and we figured we’d have enough time for lunch, as we were only ordering two sushi rolls & a chicken dish between the two of us-we couldn’t have been more wrong. 6+ tables came in after we had already been seated for at least 10min. Still no food. Another 10−15min later our chicken dish finally came out. But no sushi rolls still. By this point 3 of the tables that had come in after us already had their food(to include sushi rolls & other dishes). We continued to wait for one of the two waitresses to come to our table & they kept avoiding us. Couldn’t even get them to come in our direction; let alone look at us. At this point it had already been 45+min since we sat down & it was time for me to head back to work. I had to get up, walk up to the front of the cooking area & stand there for someone to FINALLY acknowledge me. I let the women know we would not be needing the two rolls as we had already waited a RIDICULOUS amount of time & I was about to be late to work. She said nothing. Just took my card & ran it. For just the chicken dish, which she charged us extra for fried rice(yet never mentioned while ordering that it would cost extra), and the tax-it came out to: $ 16.14!!! Absolutely ridiculous. For the one dish we did receive it was hardly any food. The service was AWFUL, and the only good thing about this place was that it looked nice inside. I wouldn’t suggest anyone come here.

REALLY, GOOD, SUSHI, and in the Fort Drum area, making this joint extra impressive. They even offered brown rice! which made my day(and meal.) My friend ordered a hot sauté dish, and it too was delicious, flavorful, non-greasy(a commendable PLUS for asian made-in-america sauté!) Restaurant staff was also super friendly, and the interior décor was beautiful. I highly recommend Ruyi.
