I go to this place often for late night coffee with friends. The food is all pretty good but the breakfast food is best. I like the nachos and burgers as well. The staff are all friendly. It’s a truck stop and almost exactly what you’d expect from a truck stop.

My spouse and I ate dinner here on New Year’s Eve because we had a coupon. We will not be back because there’s a sign on the door that tells you to «leave your profanity at the door» because«families with children» eat there, which I found off-putting in general and ironic since it’s a TRUCKSTOP! Also, the server was borderline hostile towards us because her mother-in-law made her come in, cover the MiL’s shift, and then the MiL took her truck; we found this out while she was loudly complaining(and cussing! So much for following their nanny sign’s rules) to a man who I think was either her boyfriend or husband. The server’s young son was also allowed to run around the dining room and treat it like his own personal playground, bumping into things, screeching, and just generally being disruptive; I would’ve never been allowed to act that way in public when I was a child. Now that’s over with, some things about the food: we both ordered things that came with hash-browns and neither of our potatoes were fully cooked and they had no seasoning ATALL, also my eggs had no seasoning, and we were expected to share a small cup of syrup between the two of us and the ketchup was really thin and bland like it’d been watered down several times. I wasn’t expecting much food-wise but I WAS expecting something near Denny’s level and Double Clutch sure fell short. And, oh yes, a final thought: we were«treated» to Fox News on the big TVs in the dining room.

After a 10 hour drive from Oklahoma to Greeley, the Double Clutch was the only option at 4am. This truck stop offers huge portions for breakfast. The omelettes have 4 eggs. I got the 2 egg combo. Nicki is a very friendly waitress she’ll keep your cup of coffee full.

This is a truck stop diner, and is almost exactly what you would think it is when you read the phrase«truck stop diner». It’s not the nicest place, but I have always us decent, friendly service and they have good breakfast food. That’s all I order here so I couldn’t comment on the other food. My kids like the cheeseburgers ok, so there is that. Just a decent, average dining room experience that doesn’t cost a fortune. No surprises good or bad.

Run down place with bad service and old food. Waited forever for the food to come and to find that it was cold. Sent back and after everyone else finished their meals it finally came out. This time was over cooked. Didnt eat the meal but still got charged. If garabage is what you want then the double clutch is you spot.

Double Clutch is comfort breakfast in a truck stop setting — you can’t get any more humble or unassuming. Everyone is so friendly, the serving sizes are monstrous, and you could sit in here forever talking to the owner and all the servers. I would give the Chile Rellenos a try, if I were you. BEST I’VEEVERHAD. Homemade green chile sauce, premium ingredients executed with love. When I’m in Greeley, I make time for Double Clutch!

Double Clutch is another favorite of mine in Greeley. Every time i go it get the south of the burger. which is a cheese burger with jalapenos and a side of green chili. that make great fries to boot seasoned or non. the other food is good as well. pros: good tasting food, range from Mexican, to burgers, to home cooking. Cons: they are getting cheap, i would have given them a 5 star but they are sacrificing quality for cost. first they replaced the hamburger buns from sesame to these little crappy buns that barely cover my burger. my side of green cilii now comes in a little dish it used to come in a big dish. The Chili used to have allot of pork chunks in it. now im lucky if I find one. the meat used to be leaner hardly that much grease now its so greasy sometimes my bun disappears. despite my cons it still taste great and is the only reason i go there. only thing that would keep me from going is if they raised the prices and kept with the short changing of quality
