Doctor was thorough asked many questions. The staff explained everything in detail prior to the visit. Would recommend! Thousands of dollars cheaper than visiting an emergency room.

I have used this facility numerous times in the past but my most recent visit is undoubtably my last. After minding what felt like the flu for two days, I headed over to ensure the inferno otherwise known as my throat was not the beginning of strep throat. I called to confirmed they still had me in the system and made a same day appointment. Quick and easy. I arrived right on time to find a receptionist and two bright blue uniforms — Virginia College Medical Assistants students on externship. Since I wasn’t having blood drawn, I was fine and soon whisked off to Exam Room 2. Literally steps away from the main desk and I heard all about their weekends. One student entered to take my blood pressure and pulse with ease, left then a few minutes later returned to repeat the procedure. I sat, checked in, updated Facebook, took a selfie, used an oversize curette to clean my ear, blew my nose, sanitized and took the photos you see in the gallery. Yes, I had time on my hands and if given the chance I could’ve waited longer. First, the receptionist enters to return my card sans a receipt. She hands me a form to sign, takes the clipboard back and asks how much I paid for the visits previously. After being informed $ 14.95 she hands the clipboard back and tells me the price is now $ 40 and she already ran my card! From the look on my face, she knew I was annoyed and asked if she should do a refund. I sign and let her know I wasn’t pleased being made aware after the fact but I need to see a doctor. She exits and instead of Dr Coon, an older gentleman enters and introduces himself. I believe it was Dr. Reynolds but I was distracted by his loafers and argyle sweater. Stylish! He asked several detailed questions; checks my nose*, ears* and throat; listens to my lungs and informs me that I’ve roughed out a viral infection so rest and fluids are all I need. *I nearly puked after he added the rubber tip to the light, looked up my nose then in my ear only to open an alcohol pad and clean it. I think she saw my expression and mid swipe threw it all away. BUT he already used a recycled one on ME! This wasn’t the same experience that I had in 2013 when I frequented the office. I’ll stick to my PCP ad $ 20 copay.
