The food was wonderful! The phở broth is full of flavor! Great atmosphere and staff!

Our family frequents Phở Vietnam in Anchorage Alaska because of their fresh made Phở. I was hoping for the same experience at Phở Bac but unfortunately left very dissatisfied. Issues: _The Phở noodles themselves came super chopped up like Wolverine himself got hold of the noodles. (Phở Vietnam never chopped) — The noodles many of them were stuck together as if left in the pot too long. Super mushy. — The vegetable broth tasted very watered down compared to what I’m used to. — The phở had no fresh mushrooms, carrots or celery added although the broccoli they had was well cooked. This phở just had very few vegatables than expected. Unfortunately, this was the worst Phở I’ve ever had. Staff were friendly but few customers in restaurant. Hopefully, they can rectify these issues at this restaurant.

This is a true surprise. I have tried phở all over and this is in my top 5 all time. I had the House Special and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the broth. The broth was deep with flavor, not weak and salty like others. The beef was truly rare and the beef balls were flavorful and tender. My companions shared the same experience with stir fry shrimp, Mongolian style beef, Mongolian shrimp, and roasted chicken w/jasmine rice. The only thing I could have asked be changed was that all of our food did not come out at the same time, with one of our dishes coming out minutes before the others.

I’d say this is the obvious first pick place for phở in Augusta. The prices are a tad high in my humble opinion, but since the portions are a nice size, I’ll keep my mouth shut. I’m a firm believer in choosing the specialty dish in the restaurant I’m dining in, so I haven’t branched out much from the phở. That’s ok with me because it’s delicious every time. Crab puffs… nope, not good, but hey, that’s not the specialty so oh well! The spring rolls are a reliable favorite as well. Added bonus — friendly staff.

This is my first time eating at a Vietnamese restaurant so o wasn’t very sure what to order. I asked my server Amber B who gave me a lot of good choices with patience and knowledge. I ordered the A22 Charbroiled Pork Summer Roll(2 pieces in one order) and also a Large P1 Chicken Soup. The taste was amazing, they give you some vegetables inside the soup and some others in a separate plate so you can pick what ever you like. Everything tasted very good and the rolls will included a sweet dressing that goes very well with the hone made spicy sauce that they have in all the tables. I would recommend this place to anyone that what to try some good Vietnamese food.

I’ve visited Phở Bac twice now and ordered the same thing both times(vegetarian phở w/tofu) and both times it has been incredible. I first visited in January when I was in town for an interview, and ate alone. I sat in peace reading my book and lingering over a hot bowl of phở and I was pretty much in heaven. My next visit was in April and I brought my boyfriend who was excited to try the«best phở I’ve ever had!» He was very happy with his meal and my usual order was delicious as well. Prices are reasonable and I’ll definitely be making many visits to this restaurant! It will be difficult to deviate from my favorite phở, but I’m excited to try the lemongrass tofu.

20 minutes for phở? Only 7 people total in the place. I know there is a sign on the outside asking for servers but this is ridiculous. After waiting for 20 minutes my phở came with a special surprise. A half melted piece of plastic. Lovely. Apparently the owners don’t like to run the A/C. 6 out of the patrons complained about how hot it was so a restraunt wide announcement was made that the AC was turned on. Gee, thanks.

I remember getting phở here more than five years ago, and I was happy that the taste stayed the same. The Thai tea is delicious and I wish they served it in a half gallon jug. I ordered the summer roll, and the shrimp did not taste too strong and had a fresh taste when you take a bite; however, the skin was slightly chewy. The roll might have been sitting out too long. The small bowl is too small; if you haven’t had a meal previously, I recommend getting a larger size. The service gets you the standard plate of vegetables, and the in house chili sauce was spicy. With the summer heat rolling in soon, it is great to have something spicy and hot to sweat it out.

This was SOOO good. The phở portions are large. The actual food was tasty as well. The waiter that we had was amazing(black kid… can’t remember his name). Very welcoming and courteous. The thai tea– was THEBESTEVER!!! And they were generous with their thai tea– and I’ll def be back here each and every time I’m in Augusta.

Every time I visit the food is great, the servers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Our last visit our server, Michele, was so nice. We have removed carbs from our diet so she was nice enough to get us bean sprouts instead of noodles. Love this place.

This was my first time trying phở, so I’m no expert In the cuisine or anything but I thoroughly enjoyed it. We were seated immediately on a Friday night and we’re promptly served. Our waiter was great at making suggestions and answering any questions that we had. I decided to go with the brisket phở and the beef, chicken, and shrimp stir fry. Both were delicious. The flavors in the phở broth were superb. I’ll definitely be going back to try some of the other dishes!

Today was my first time visiting Phở Bac and HOLYMOLY. I’ll probably come by this place every week. The P2(brisket soup) was AMAZING. The flavors danced on my tongue! I’m in love! The stir-fry was what you would expect at an Asian restaurant. It wasn’t anything spectacular, but the PHO! Also, the place is designed really cute, if you’re into that sort of thing. & the service was phenomenon. Will definitely return :) It was love at first bite.

I haven’t had Vietnamese food in years and after seeing the reviews we had to try it. As usual my fellow Unilocalers did not steer us wrong! Walking in my first impression was positive. Cute décor and smiling faces greeted us. I ordered a shrimp stir fry made spicy and my daughter had house fried rice. The stir fry wasn’t really spicy but the flavors were amazing. The fried rice included a yummy pork chop, fried egg, shrimp and I think tofu. I tasted the pork chop and again it was amazing. Portions were shareable size. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a fancy phở place, which is a first in my life. It felt strange that it wasn’t even the slightest bit dirty, so I was concerned the phở wasn’t going to be that good. Thankfully, the phở was pretty good and they give you generous portions of bean sprouts. We started off with egg rolls and charbroiled pork summer rolls. They were quite pricey considering there were only 2 each, but note how I said this was a fancy phở place. Egg rolls had more of a Chinese taste to them and the summer rolls were different from the ones I normally have back home. They were both okay. The weirdest part was the summer rolls aren’t served with the peanut sauce but rather fish sauce. I would skip these items, guys. Phở broth was quite nice and light, though left me thirsty afterwards. It is a huge portion that they give you even at regular. The noodles were good, so no complaints there. Service is spot-on, and though this is not the best phở I’ve had, I think it would satisfy your phở cravings somewhat, since you are not in an area that has tons of phở shops. It also is on the pricier side for me, but then again, I’m used to cheap bowls of phở at home. Not bad for where it is though!

My go-to for Phở in Atlanta. To be honest, not really the best in Atlanta, but definitely not the worst. Phở Bac is the first place I had phở in Atlanta and even to this day is one of my favorites. You get quick service and good tasting food. The phở is exactly what you’d expect. Nice tasty beef broth, stocked full of meats and other things. Yup, I recommend this place!

Only place I go to have legitimate Vietnamese phở. The soup base is on point.(And this is coming from someone who once lived in Chinatown!) This restaurant is great for accommodating groups, without need for advance reservations, and prices are fairly reasonable. The only downside is the restaurant does close fairly early; too early for those late night phở cravings! The hot pot, while good here, is not the strong point of this restaurant: instead, come here for the beef stew and phở.

THEBESTVIETNAMESERESTAURANTINAUGUSTA. I’ve gotten everything here from rice dishes, noodles, soups and drinks. Everything has been PHENOMENAL. However, one dish stands above all. I would say about 3 of those stars alone will go towards the SPICYLEMONGRASSTOFU. You HAVE to get it. I’m certainly not a vegetarian but if I had to convert to eat this everyday, I would. You seriously start craving it. I’ve moved away from Augusta with no thoughts of ever coming back but I still have dreams of coming back here just to eat this dish. **If someone could deliver this to me, we will be soulmates. Fo real.**

Overall a very good place to get some«Vietnamese» food. I am still not going to call it authentic as it seems to have a bit of a Chinese food flair. It is just good food from my experience as a first time customer who got food to go. I went with the B8(rice vermicelli, grilled shrimp, grilled pork), and fried rice. The B8 was very filling as it also included a salad and fish sauce that was a nice condiment to accompany your meal. The pork had a nice spice to it that was not hot spicy but seasoned very well that complimented the noodles nicely. The egg roll was full of flavor and most important was not like biting into a grease roll as with many places. I could actually taste the vegetables and meat without my fingers being lubricated with grease. The fried rice was abundant with shrimp, beef, and chicken although they did forget to add it to my order and I had to remind them after I noticed my missing item. Glad that I had the experience of tasting their fried rice as I am eating leftovers as I type this review. Service was adequate but most importantly the food came out steaming hot. I would say I waited about 15 minutes for my food. Parking is no problem and neither is getting in or out. It is located on Towne Center Drive between Washington Road and Bel Air Road in a very convenient area where traffic should not present a problem.

We had to drive what seemed like 5 hours to get to Phở Bac on the other side of town(ok, maybe not 5 hours), but for some decent phở, it was worth it. This location of Phở Bac has the exact same signage and logo as the one on Buford Highway in Atlanta, which makes me think that it’s an outpost of that restaurant. Didn’t know Phở Bac was a local chain. Phở Bac looks to have taken over the space of a previous free-standing restaurant. It’s spacious interior with minimal décor can accomodate large groups. Service is pretty decent, but there were hardly any other patrons that afternoon. Everyone speaks English — there were no actual Vietnamese people working the floor… but hopefully in the kitchen? Nevertheless, the phở here is decent, and probably really good for Augusta standards, where decent Asian food seems rare. If my memory serves me right, it tasted just like the Phở Bac on Buford Hwy. They are heavy on the spices in the broth at Phở Bac — a little bit too fragrant for me and not meaty enough in the broth, but still good. The noodle texture was also a bit strange for me, but probably due to a different brand of rice noodle than I’m used to. They provide the normal garnishes and such for a perfect bowl of phở. Pretty authentic for this side of town, I’d say. I got the small bowl with rare steak and tripe(my favorite!) and there was plenty of tripe and slices of eye round steak to be found. I wouldn’t recommend getting the Thai Tea here… it looked way too creamy and from what I heard, way too sweet as well.
