This is a great activities park. They have several baseball fields, tennis courts, play grounds, river access with a boat ramp and a dock. The dog park is a great place to let your furry companion do his/her thing. This park is very close to my house and I use it to put my kayak in and go fishing. You can fish from the dock, but I’ve never had much luck. It’s best to go out on Betty’s Branch and use topwater lures for the smallies. It’s a great park and I can’t sing it’s praise enough.

Great dog park. Big open fields for small and large dogs. Not too many other dogs during the weekday. But people seem to come a lot on weekends and after their workday. Never seen dogs fight here. The dogs and people are all friendly. Best dog park we’ve found near Augusta.

I appreciate how this park has grass and a large play area for both large and small dogs alike. Evans has wood chips for the little dogs and an overgrown kitty litter box for large dogs and Augusta has a great shady area for large dogs and a much smaller flatter area for little dogs but this is the only park with grass and multiple fountains. There’s a central seating area for people that’s shaded and there’s usually no dogs around during the weekday so if you’re looking for a little quality time with your pup for training, this is the park for you. The grass is always cut low, there’s never any stray dog poop around and there are plenty of birds to chase. My doggy approves. 48⁄2014

Finally a dog park with grass! And it’s huge! There are two sides one for large and one for small but there is a gate in between that you can open so the dogs can have the entire space. I go most nights anywhere between 5−6pm and that’s when the most dogs are there. Probably because everyone comes after work

I’ve been here twice on weekdays and I’ve never seen another dog here. The park is really nice and actually has grass(Evans and Augusta do not) but the entire park is practically a long, large ditch so it’s also been muddy the past two times I’ve come. No shade but lots of seating. Water fountains for the dogs, huge separate small and large dog areas and it’s a pretty area. If it weren’t for the mud this could be the best dog park in the Augusta region!
