My husband and I got married this March. Both of us had no dancing experience, so we found Shirley through Unilocal last November. At the beginning we just planed to learn some basic dancing steps for our wedding. However after 2 classes, we really enjoyed the way that Shirley had been teaching us and therefore wished to learn more for developing our interest in dancing. Shirley is indeed a very professional teacher and kind person. With her persistent help and encouragement, we had been experiencing unforgettable dance lessons. At last, we performed excellently as we imagined in the first dance of our wedding ceremony.

My husband and I took 5 dance lessons with Shirley for our Wedding dance. We wanted to do a swing dance, something a bit fun and different. Shirley was fantastic, she made us feel so comfortable and confident from lesson one. We were both pretty inexperienced but she helped us piece everything together with little by little steps. We couldn’t believe how far we managed to go with Shirley and how much we enjoyed the whole process. We really looked forward to lessons each week and Shirley is such a lovely kind hearted lady. We were so happy with our dance on the big day and we managed to wow our guests with our moves. We couldn’t recommend Shirley more highly.

I was so sceptic about the whole idea of having a wedding dance after seeing brides and grooms scared to death of making a wrong move on the dance floor. Shirley is a great teacher. She made us feel so comfortable, yet, most important, she taught us to trust each other and enjoy the music, improvise and go with the flow. We truly enjoyed every moment of our first dance, and Shirley get’s the full credit for that.
