The hours of 5−6pm are pretty weird in downtown Evanston. Coffee shops close. Boutiques close. There really isn’t much to do when you’re traipsing around town in the off hour between work and dinner, so I was happy to waste a bit o’ time in Gigi Bottega!
You’ll find plenty of trendy items here, most within the $ 20-​$ 200 price point. Their accessories and shoes are super cute too, so if you’re looking for a last minute gift, this is a great place to stop. I spied lots of cold shoulder tops, rompers, summer dresses, a bit of denim, dressy tops, and more. The brand I most recognized was RD Style. In terms of quality, these are not closet lifers, but they can inject a bit of trend into your wardrobe for a very affordable price point.
Next time I’m in Evanston, I’ll absolutely pay another visit to Gigi!

I stopped in here on Saturday because I had a few minutes free and couldn’t have been happier I stopped by! The friendly staff greeted me right away and I was able to find a cute button down and a scarf in under 10 minutes for about $ 35! I will be sure to poke my head in next time I’m in Evanston!

First time shopping at Gigi Bottega and I love it. They have the trendiest styles, and they are super affordable in downtown Evanston. Super cute jewelry, earrings and rings all in a 25-​dollar range. I found the cutest white blazer to wear to a holiday party for $ 40 and a super comfy bralette for about $ 15. I also appreciate that the store is not cluttered and you can easily look through the racks without getting overwhelmed. The fitting rooms are very comfortable.

Best boutique in Evanston! Of course like any other woman, I love to shop the latest and greatest. I absolutely love cute little boutiques that I come across, and gigi bottega has definitely become top on my list! The owner Gina is super friendly and always brings in the most adorable pieces. Everytime I come to this store I always get a warm welcome, and an excellent shopping experience. If there were more stars I would give them all!

This is my new favorite place to shop for clothes. You get amazing contemporary style without having to go all the way to the city and paying so much more. My favorite brands here are Jack, BB Dakota, Olivaceous, and Naked Zebra. These are boutique brands you can’t really find anywhere else.
The woman who owns the store is so nice (Gina) and has great style, shows when you look through the racks. I also really like how the style is versatile and can mix and match with so many things. They also have a variety of jewelry from costume jewelry to fine jewelry that’s handmade locally. They do a great job merchandising and helping you find what you need! Highly recommend :) Thanks gigi bottega!

I just bought a pair of jeans here on sale for a little under $ 20; I wore them for the first time today and they are fantastic jeans. The entire sale section was 65% original pricing when I went, and, sadly, that pair of jeans was the only thing that fit me well and that I could convince myself that I needed while I was there.
The store was very clean and well organized, with fantastic and pretty reasonably priced jewelry on display. I would definitely come back for another look at these.
They also have really awesome changing rooms (something I always look for, as peripheral as it might seem). Large, with great lighting and big mirrors, and with another mirror right outside in which you can view yourself from different angles.

Gigi Bottega is one of my favorite contemporary women’s boutiques in Downtown Evanston. It’s a rather small store, but very spiffy clean, new, and spacious. This is no Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe. The clothes they sell are classy and (from what I can tell) high-​quality. And unlike other boutiques in the area, the prices are very reasonable. They don’t sell in bulk, so for each style you find, there is probably one or two in each size — S, M, L. Four stars because I rarely see any XS or XL sizes. Styles range from college girls to young professionals, and to even middle aged moms. There’s also a 15% off purchase discount in the Downtown Evanston app.
