Infant Welfare Soc of Evanston

I am so happy that I made the choice to send my daughter to Baby Toddler. Like many parents, I was very sad about returning back to work and leaving my daughter is someone else’s care. We looked around at several day care options in and around Evanston before deciding to send her there. What really stood out to me about Baby Toddler was the warmth of the staff during our classroom visit and the higher ratio of teachers to children than any of the other centers we looked at. I also like the fact that the center is accredited by NAEYC.
My daughter is almost two now and she is very happy at Baby Toddler. She is excited to go to school everyday and see her teachers and friends. Her classroom teachers are extremely caring and very well educated in early child development. And because the staff to child ratios are higher, my daughter gets a lot more individual attention than she would get at other centers.
One small thing that means a lot to me, is that all of the staff at the center (including the teachers from other classrooms and the administrative staff) know my daughter’s name and say hello to her and I in the hallway. This is just another small example of the warmth and friendliness of the staff that I picked up on during my initial visit.
